To Dana who review with photos. The importance of lower ring. It is there for several reasons. It limits the amount you can unscrew the main body from the tip. If you unlock the ring by unscrewing it and keep unscrewing the two pieces will separate than you will find three rubber O rings which can be replaced and rebuild to new again. There is a quality difference between the 2 pieces. The stop valve is great. The spray nozzle is kinda cheap. It's much smaller than other ones, and there is a ring near the base of it (the inlet) that unscrews as you handle it. Unless I'm totally missing something, there is no function to this whatsoever. I've never even seen this characteristic on other spray nozzles. If someone knows something I don't, please enlighten me and I will change this review. Here are photos of the nozzle with the ring screwed in and unscrewed. The ring DOES NOT need to be unscrewed to change the spray volume. ... show more
