A new court opened up at the park by my place and a lot of people were there this year playing pickleball. Which naturally made me wanna try. So I did and I got this set to start. Has all you need while you're new and just getting started. The price is a steal for all that you get. For context, pro pickleball paddles alone can cost hundreds! You're getting a whole set for a fraction of that. I imagine that if I get more serious, I'll want something more dedicated but for now, this was perfect to use get into the game.

Thisnset of pickleball paddles and balls are fine. They aren't the highest quality materials you can encounter, but they're good for the price. If you're just getting started you'll probably like these well enough. Will these last? I can't say for sure yet, but they're holding up fine so far.

This is a great way to start playing pickleball. It comes with a nice pair of paddles, four balls and a good carry case. If you are wanting to learn how to play, this is a great way to start. You don't have to spend a bunch of money on this until you know that you enjoy it and want to do it regularly. This set gives you everything that you need figure that out. We enjoy pickleball and got these to have an extra set to take the grandkids to the court with us. Good quality on all of it. I am an absolute beginner in the realm of pickleball. I had the chance to acquire and evaluate this set and I was really curious to test out some gear used for this booming leisure sport. My impression is that this set provides good value for someone like me, curious about it, but not devoted. The case is lightweight, but nicely designed. It's basic and easy to carry with a handy top strap, and it holds four balls (included with the set) alongside two rackets. The rackets themselves have a pattern that is pretty neutral. Other than going for a muted solid color, I don't think you can get some less distracting than this. That's just what I wanted. The grip comes wrapped in plastic, so it's perfectly intact when you get the rackets. I'm sure this and the paddle surface will wear with use, but athletic equipment grip tape isn't hard to come by if so. But they have a nice feel to start out. The racket itself (and maybe this is standard for the sport?) says it's made from fiberglass. It's light but solid, and seems like it gives decent control over a hit on the ball. I'm a satisfied newb and would recommend this as a good set for testing the waters.

This pickleball starter set is perfect for beginners like me! The paddles feel sturdy yet lightweight, and the grip is comfortable right out of the box. I love that it comes with four balls and a solid carry case, making it easy to take to the court with family or friends. The quality is definitely better than I expected for the price, and everything fits neatly in the bag for quick grab-and-go sessions. While experienced players might want to upgrade their paddles eventually, this set is a fantastic way to test the waters without spending a ton. So cute!! This set is perfect for us recreational pickleball players. The price point is great for the quality, and the quality is good enough to play-- not professional level but good for those of us having fun. Perfect for beginners. The paddles fit great for adult women-- easy to grip and a good weight for beginners. Definitely recommend!

For someone who is starting out with pickleball this is a nice set for a couple to go play a pick up game. Comes with 4 balls and packed well. I love the houndstooth design on the paddle itself. They seem to be made of decent quality, but again I have no frame of reference outside of ping pong paddles I do think the bag it came with was “cheap” feeling, because it feels as if it could fall apart easily, but that is coming from someone who is pretty rough with his belongings, especially his athletic equipment, so I just sense I would tear through this. That being said, I think this is worth the money. The bag is what’s keeping me from giving 5 stars, however please keep in mind that’s just my own sense of durability, and take that with a grain of salt.
