Edit: The company reached out to me and has offered to replace the broken paddles. Grade A customer service. Definitely a supporter of this brand now! Great for getting into the sport, if you're a hard hitter or more competitive player, you may want to go with something more durable. I broke both of them in three months, both at the handle, just from the whip of swinging the thing around. Not a bad break, more of a collapsing (I think the handle is hollow), could still be used as a beginner to just hit around, but the handle flexes and halfway collapses on the harder shots now after some use. I've had a decent amount of time to really test this paddle out. I've bought it for quite sometime now, and I thought that I should finally sit down and talk about it. I have to say, right off the bat when you hold this these paddles... they are lightweight. I've personally bought $10 paddles as I was starting out, and believe it or not, the price difference between those inexpensive ones and these ones are small, but the difference in weight are huge. You could tell that the carbon fiber surface material definitely helps. Any beginner who is thinking about trying pickleball out, I would recommend these to. They introduce decent spin, enough for a player who does not have a lot of experience could max out on. Buying $200 paddles would not make sense because they wouldn't be able to use it to its full potential anyway. Moving on, the style isn't bad either. There are a lot of pickleball paddles out there that does not look good. These are very simple, I personally think elegant, and at a great price. Would not compare to $200 paddles, but again... only buy those if you think you've really mastered the basics. ... show more

Got this set when my daughter and I started to learn. We've been playing a while and decided to upgrade to nicer paddles, but these are my spares for guests now and I definitely reccomend them for anyone starting out who doesn't want a big initial investment!

This is a good starter set- and the paddles are just slightly smaller than most sets, just a few millimeters but curious. 2 of the balls were missing and vendor very quickly addressed the situation and refunded me for the missing balls. Very Good Service!
