I’m a more aggressive player—I hit hard, drive the ball, and put a lot of pace on my serves. I was hoping this paddle would become my new budget-friendly go-to option, but after only about three weeks of use, it seems like the core is failing. The sound when making contact has completely changed. It no longer has that solid, crisp feel it had when new. Instead, it almost sounds like squeezing a plastic bottle, as if the core or sweet spot has broken down internally. Because of that, I’ve lost a noticeable amount of power and consistency. The first time I used the DGYGO paddle, I didn't do well with it and went back to my old paddle after the first two games. I accidentally picked up the DGYGO paddle a couple days later and did very well with it. Now I use it all the time. I like the way it handles in my hand, but what I like best is the long handle and the grip tape with the raised line on it. I switch hands as I play. With my old paddle, I sometimes miss the grip, the paddle slips out of my hand and I drop it. I almost never drop this paddle. I may try adding weights to it, but I am quite happy with this paddle. ... show more

Very light, good grip, great spin and power. The only flaw is that the edges chips easily as there is no protective edging around it.

    • Game changer paddle

I have been playing pickleball for 2 yrs with the same cheap paddle. I noticed how everyone was progressing in their skills, but I couldn’t due to my paddle. I researched and found this paddle for an upgrade. I waited for it to go on sale. It has been a literal game changer with its pop and face grit. The handle is longer than my old paddle so I can now hold both hands on the handle to swing backhand, and that alleviates stress on my dominant shoulder, and it has a longer reach. I’m so impressed with this paddle. I didn’t know how much better I could play, and not work so hard on my body by upgrading my paddle. The weight is perfect too. I’ve compared it to my friends’ more expensive paddles and it is definitely a contender in comparison. I recommend this paddle to anyone who has worn out their beginner paddles or their shoulder and wrist (by having to work so hard). I just didn’t know how much a paddle could do to reduce body stress and improve shots. Truly a “game changer”. ... show more

    • Feel like I lit my money on fire

I had this paddle for a couple months before I used it in a game setting. I took it with me to the Texas coast for a month to get out of the PNW gray late winter weather. The paddle felt great in my hand and I could create more spin than my other paddle. Playing 3-4 days a week after a couple weeks it started to sound and hit like a cracked bat, especially around the top half of the paddle. This was frustrating because it sometimes affected my play. Other players at times, could here the sound my paddle would make when I hit the ball. A couple weeks in and one of the better players brought there back up Joola paddle in and gave it to me. Wow, huge difference in consistency, feel, and no vibration. It was also carbon fiber and the spin factor was about the same. The DGYGO could be a decent paddle, but mine is defective and became that way after limited use. For that reason I would not recommend this paddle. ... show more
