I have only used this set for about three weeks but it is very easy and user friendly - the paddle is comfortable and I think good for me as a beginner and until I upgrade - I like that it also came with four balls and tape for the grip - I did not expect that - so far so good for an amateur!

These are excellent for beginners. I've used the paddles and balls a couple of times a week for about 4 months, and they are holding up great. I notice very little difference in use of the balls vs. the Dura Fast 40 Outdoor balls I also have, and that brand is used in professional pickleball. The paddles have almost no wear from scrapes on the court surface and my lightning-fast serves. The grips on the paddles are well-constructed and dependable. The materials used for the paddles are lightweight, durable, and cohesive to the level that it feels like holding one solid piece of equipment. I have no experience with the highest level paddles, but these are able to administer the proper spin when used in various shots. TLDR: The bag is very cheaply made. The bag has worn through in no time at all. I've only placed inside the paddles and balls included, and the top of the bag all around the zipper ripped through after just a few uses. It's not a small tear, either, it's several inches. I'm not rough on equipment at all, and this has made the bag useless until I either replace it or repair it. If you want any use at all out of the bag, I recommend buying a more quality one separately. The added expense/headache keeps me from being able to give 5 stars, but the paddles and balls are a solid set priced at very good value to get started with the fun game of pickleball.
