Excellent pickleball paddle. Purchased the Magnus 3S while on sale. Has lots of power, control is good and seems to be well balanced. It’s a little on the heavy side but still works well. Really like the elongated face. Happy it came with a spare grip. Wish it came with a protective cover.

After 2 months of normal usage, the paddle started hitting inconsistently and the core made cracking sounds when I pressed against the paddle surface with my thumbs. I submitted a warranty claim to Joola with a photo and video showing the damage. Customer service was slow to respond. The Hyperion and Perseus shapes were out of stock on their website so they only offered the remaining options that I didn't want. I liked this paddle the moment I opened the box — it looks great with Ben John’s signature and feels solid and well-made. After switching to the JOOLA 3S Raw Carbon Fiber paddle, my game improved noticeably. The control is excellent, and dinking feels much easier and more accurate.
