They work great, easy to screw into the ground. With the supplied tools, I was able to screw them into hard ground about 3/4 of the way with an old 9v. Drill. The rest of the way with the supplied T handle. ( I suspect a modern 21 v. Driver/ drill would have no proclem driving these in all the way!) Thay hold fast!!! The design is excellent, with the removeable, very robust bolt 'eye' able to secure 2 hooks from 1" rachet straps easily. Very pleased!

The media could not be loaded. I built a custom patio decoration wooden firewood holder for our patio area. It stands on top of the edge of a mulch garden. Due to the design, I had to get a weather cover for it that was slightly oversized. In strong winds, even bricks would not keep it in place; the cover kept blowing off. I sank 4 of these anchors, and used carabiners to attach the cover’s bottom click-straps to the anchor’s eyes (too small to allow the clasps to pass through. I installed these in NE Wisconsin just after a late December 3-Day thaw, using the manual handle option. TOTAL SUCCESS. Each screwed in within a minute’s effort and held fast. I would have included better pictures, if I had not beaten a blizzard that literally started as I was finishing the fourth anchor point ( got the delivered just in time!). However, 12 hrs of blizzard conditions later, my cover remained in place!!! Lesser storms have flipped this cover to expose most of the wood to the wet conditions. The video is post-storm with lesser winds.
