My husband just finished putting the two chairs together. Not too hard but don't tighten your screws until finished. sometimes the holes don't line up so you have to go back and loosen the screws. They are beautiful. Thick cushions that aren't too soft (they hold their shape well) Arrived a day early. My husband just finished putting them together. The cushions are thick and the color is beautiful. Comfortable enough. Haven't put the little table together yet but I know I will love it too. Hopefully when the rain stops The builders will be here to put up a roof for my patio. I'm having so much fun planning how I will furnish it now. GREAT PRODUCT AND WILL GIVE IT A 5 STAR.

I finished assembling these chairs this morning, and took a few minutes to sit back and lounge in them. I like the back and bottom springiness that lets me softly rock back and forth. Very relaxing. These are intended to be set up in a conversation area in my newly-designed patio/outside living room, and will work out perfectly for that--unless I change my mind and decide to keep them in the living room, which is a very real possibility! The frames to these are very sturdy, and will comfortably fit my 270 lb frame. I haven't yet assembled the table. I assume it will go together well, too. I might have deducted half a star if that had been possible, out of sheer frustration. The assembly had some issues which I eventually sorted out. Here are some recommendations to other purchasers: 1. Throw away the pictures- without-text-instructions-assembly booklet. 2. Use common sense, and a bit of trial and error, and install three screws in each side piece and two screws and a small floor protector in each side of the back cross bar. Leave the screws partially loose until everything is assembled, then go back and hand tighten them all. After evaluating, then abandoning the picture instructions, and tackling assembly on my own, it took about 45 minutes to assemble the first chair. The second one took about 15 minutes. Not bad for a 68 year old senior citizen.

Look nice. Nice soft cushions that showed no signs of wear after the first year, even though we leave them completely exposed. My only wish for change with this product is that the chair is not very bouncy for me because my upper body is relatively light. My husband, with a much larger torso, can bounce the chair much more easily. I hope the chair gives a little with time. I waxed (car wax) the chairs before I assembled them. I have found with other out door metal furniture that one coat can prevent rust for many years.

It is a lovely set. Assembly is fairly straight-forward. The cushions are well made and comfortable. Frames are heavy duty. However, one of the four chairs had a mis-aligned side support. I was happy that Phi Villa’s customer service was very responsive. They sent me replacement parts to fix the minor problem. I appreciated their attention to detail.

Super disappointed in the quality as far as some of the threaded holes were completely crooked on very key spots, which prevented the bolt from being able to be screwed in straight or all the way. Very frustrating and not a thing you can do about it. So now both chairs’ arm pieces aren’t well attached to the back rest piece. And sadly my husband got to say, “ I told you so!” for me not shopping local for better quality. Of course I’m not going to return heavy metal deck chairs that took a long time to assemble ( bc of all the stupid messed up threaded holes ). ****UPDATE to my original review: Chairs themselves are very comfy. But......When the cushions are left on the chairs in extreme heat (I'm not talking Florida, but a high 90 degree Maine day...day after day) the cushions literally BURN/scorch from the metal or the metal finish of the chair slats. There are now stripes of blackish smooth, hard, almost shiny...like when you burn fabric when ironing it... stripes on the cushions, exactly where the chair seat slats were. I prop them upright at night, so they con't get damp, so then they get flipped to the other side sometimes during the day. And now....both sides of both seat cushions have shiny burn stripes from the metal and finish of the chair slats. Will now have to buy covers for practically new outdoor chairs that cost a lot of money.
