This product is wonderful. Strong and sturdy. The ends of the wooden roosts have inset, metal inserts for the screws so they will be secure . The wood used for the perches is well shaped for the chickens feet, and is strong enough to hold large birds. It was easy to assemble, the wrench that was included is a substantial tool. Not the flat cheap kind that are usually included in self assembly products. I was pleased to find such a quality and well made product for a good and fair price.

Knocking 1 star off only due to the door instructions. The rest of the assembly was fine and it went quickly with two of us working on it. I would NOT try to do this solo, but it would be possible. The door instructions were not clear at all. It's not bad to figure out, but we had to redo it once. Once this was all assembled, it is actually a really nice setup. The coated chicken wire is a huge bonus, so much easier and sturdier to work with vs. uncoated. We didnt cover things exactly like the instructions had laid out and had way more than enough with some left over for patches if needed later. The included sun shade was also good quality with a reflective fabric. Not sure how long the bungee connectors will last in full sun and weather but that is easily fixed if needed. The way this goes together you could easily purchase additional kits and expand it if needed. We bought the largest model and it has plenty of room and I can walk down the middle easily without ducking. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far so good.

This went together easy, instructions were clear, the only drawback is the door. it is working, but it is a little weak. We have to watch the dogs when they're outside as they like to try to push in the bottom of the door. they haven't got in yet, but the little dog is getting close. Would buy again for the price, just hope they work on door design.

For Bantom size Chickens, I think this may be fine, but definitely not for several regular size (Wyandotte & the like) chickens. The size of the wood used for the perch is too small, my chickens could not stay steady. They are also too close together, they had trouble jumping up between to get on each perch. Before morning, they were all on the floor of the coop in a corner huddled together. Do not suggest for average sized chickens.

As an update, the company did finally reach out and issued a full refund. So they made the situation right. Just be warned, if you live in an area that receives snow, DON'T use the included tarp. All in, my wife and I have a full day of construction and modifications for the 10x20 chicken run. Took most of an afternoon for the 2 of us to construct and place the run. I ignored the cheap stakes that were included and purchase some U-shaped, bent rebar stakes to go over the bottom tubes. We also added 1/2 wire mesh to the bottom 2 feet and 1 foot out on the ground all of the way around to better protect from predators. Coyotes and other predators can easily chew through your typical chicken wire. It looked good and was working great to give our chickens additional space to wander along with provide a little additional protection from shade and ran. Fast forward a few weeks to our first snow fall. The tarp included is terrible. It will not shed snow. Early season snow tends to be wet and heavy. Well, it stuck to the tarp and was too heavy for the thin pipe to handle. The entire run is now completely collapsed and useless. Thankfully, no chickens were in the run when it collapsed. Not a very happy customer as I now have lost this run space for the chickens and winter is quickly approaching with no time to build another structure. Plus we are now out our money as the company has not responded. So long story short, if you life in warm climates that never get snow or heavy winds, you'll be fine. Otherwise, avoid this chicken run.

It's actually sturdier than I thought it would be. As I live in Albuquerque New Mexico and the winds here in the spring are absolutely ferocious, I kind of cracked up laughing at the stakes! They're great if you don't live in straightwind alley! But never fear! Spikes will fit through the holes! This is going to give my chickens a heck of a lot more room and me a lot more room as well for cleaning and care. It would be great if you guys sold add-ons. We can connect to the front with another door and just open the door between. Think about it... Ps. I tried to post a picture but Amazon said they couldn't do it didn't say why. Even tried to make it smaller. No-Go! Long story short, I think it was worth the money.
