These photos are taken right after the assembly. There are some visible wrinkles, but instructions say to allow 24-72 hours for the cushions to fully inflate. They came out of vacuum sealed plastic and inflated right away, but need extra time to allow the fabric to smooth out completely. I love the chenille fabric too. I was debating between linen-like upholstery or chenille fabric and decided on chenille. Glad that I did, it is more stain resistant and matches my couch. I am also 5’9” and sit comfortably, although a back pillow will add to the comfort even more for longer reading sessions. It is not super deep for my height, but still comfortable for an accent chair. I was looking for both - looks and comfort and I feel that I got both. Happy with the purchase overall. ... show more

We got 2 in creamy white chenille to replace 2 chairs we bought 10 yemrs ago that were around $500 eaxh. We were worried about quality because they aren't expensive, and we were prepared to be ok with sending them back, but we really love them and we're shocked at how nice they are! Easy assembly, took no time at all. The cushions were vacuum sealed and we were worried about that too but in 24 hrs they had fully expanded. No issue with the letter sticker coming off the fabric, absolutely no residue like other reviews mentioned. Really very happy with these. Would recommend. Would buy again. ... show more

I wouldn’t recommend for heavy set people who are going to wear out the fittings and screws by continuous movement. Very very cheaply made. If you want it for looks great- successive use not great and not really comfortable. Not the chair you want to curl up in.
