the kit worked great with the exception of the push tubes were not deep enough to allow the ball joint to be fully pressed out. I was lucky enough to have some pipe that I cut and used to make it work for me. But be aware that this could be an issue. it all could be fix with an extra 1/2 longer tube. ... show more

For those wondering. With a little planning all the parts required were there and this kit worked great for my replacement of the lower ball joints on my 97 Ford F-150 4x4. I did use moly/graphite assembly lube on the threads. I did not use an impact wrench because of clearance issues with the height I supported my vehicle. Manual effort was minimal. Next job is u-joint replacement, I will report any problems if any. ... show more
