Great Pentair Replacement Strainer.
Great replacement for my worn out pump basket strainer. This seems to be made from a different material than the original. It fits perfectly in my Pentair variable speed pool pump. I’m pretty sure it’ll fit most from the same manufacturer. Cleaning is easy. Take it out, flip it upside down and shake out the crap. Great price.

Great replacement
This basket was to replace a rotting original and this did the job just fine. It is well-made and fits in the pump collector tank just perfectly. No complaints.

If you need a new basket, look no further!
Was much thicker than the original the Whisperflow came with, and has lasted twice as long, still going strong keeping all the junk out of the impeller! Fantastic replacement basket!

Exactly What I Needed and OE part
This appears to be the OE replacement and it is perfect. Perfect fit and same size as my old one. I also appreciate the heavy duty quality of this item as well. Appreciate the fast, easy shipping as well.

Exact replacement fit, form, and function but don’t bang it to empty!
I just ordered this filter basket after the last one cracked. It took two years before my last one failed. The reoccurring failures are always at the top where the screen connects to the rim. I am sure Pentair buys these from China by the thousands. They know the problem and should strengthen the basket at the top of the plastic rim. Be careful and don’t bang the basket to dislodge debris and it should last longer. I made this mistake when emptying the basket thus changed rating from two stars to four stars. We all need to realize everything is overpriced nowadays and quality has declined to keep prices down.

They last
Will never go back to 6 month lasting Home Depot blue brand. These last around 2 years and actually save you money as you would have bought 3-4 home depot ones in that time frame.

Should have gotten it sooner!
My old one was getting old, ha ha. Must have been at least 15 years old. The top part almost came off. Should have replaced it sooner with this one. Feels so much more sturdy. Perfect replacement.
