The glass insert of the door was riveted in upside down so that the door handle and grease baffle have nothing to bolt to leaving it useless. Directions are horrible . Not all of the pieces were numbered . Took an hour of putting it together to get to the step that I could see it was upside down. What a waste of time .

I bought this smoker for weekend cooking in my backyard. It’s small but still has enough space to handle a few pieces of meat at once. The dual vent system helps control the heat, though it takes a little time to get used to. The warming rack is useful for keeping food hot without overcooking it. It feels solid, but it’s not very heavy, which makes it easy to move around.

I set up this pellet smoker in my storage area first, then moved it outside for seasoning, and the design really stands out once you see it in person. The vertical layout gives a lot more usable space than I expected. The four racks inside are wide and slide smoothly on the rails, and the interior fits larger cuts without needing to trim anything. When I opened the door, the seal felt firm, and the window lets me check on the food without losing heat. The pellet box on the side is solid and opens easily. I turned the knob a few times to test the feed system, and the movement felt steady instead of loose. The handles on the main door are thick and easy to grip, even with gloves on. Once I plugged it in, the interior heated evenly during the first run, and the airflow holes at the top gave a consistent draw. I also noticed that the smoker stands firmly on its legs without wobbling, which matters on my concrete patio. Moving the racks around didn’t cause any bending, and the bottom tray for ash is simple to slide out. After a couple hours of seasoning, the smell leveled out and the inside looked ready for the first real smoke. It feels like a well-built setup that I can grow into with different recipes.

I picked this pellet smoker for my backyard since I’m still learning the ropes of smoking meats. First off, the side hopper is a win: I tried applewood pellets last weekend, and the flavor seeped into the chicken thighs perfectly—subtle. The LED display is straightforward, too; I didn’t have to squint or fumble with a manual to check the temp, which is huge when I’m juggling drinks and guests. The meat probe was handy, but I will say—make sure you insert it into the deep part of the meat. Temperature range is solid: I smoked a pork shoulder at 225°F for 6 hours, then cranked it to 400°F to crisp the skin at the end, and it held steady both times. Overall, it’s a reliable starter smoker—nothing fancy but it gets the job done well.
