Smells heavenly out of the box. 4 stars because of the gaps between the inner walls (pictured) and the fact the bunnies can chew the wood and I didn't even consider that before buying.     • Perfect as a brooder!
I got this hutch to use as a brooder for my new chicks and it is perfect for it. Once they are grown enough to go into my outside coop, the hutch looks pretty enough that we are putting a butcherblock top on it and leaving it in place in the house (after cleaning of course!) to use as furniture. But it will then be utilized for any sick hens that need TLC in the house. It was very simple to assemble. If using it for chicks, I do recommend assembling it and allowing it to air out for a couple of days before adding the chicks, as it had the typical (mild) chemical smell to it when unboxing. For reference, I have 25 standard cochin chicks in it now, with waterer, feeder, and a roosting trainer perch. They are now 3 weeks old and still have plenty of room. At this rate, they will outgrow it exactly in time for them to be moved outside. Bonus, it is very pretty and fits with any "farmhouse" or "country" decor. Highly recommend. ... show more

This fits perfectly at the end of my daughter’s full size bed. I love that the space inside the cage is customizable. The inside dividers are removable and the bottom flooring trays can be configured for your needs. Super easy to put together, took less than 30 minutes. This hutch is great. It fits my apartment well and my rabbit enjoys it. My only problem with it is that when she goes to the bathroom, it doesn’t always land in the catch tray. Urine has ended up into the carpet and I have been trying to find makeshift ways to stop that from happening. It is an adorable hutch and works great. Just make sure your bunny goes to the bathroom in one spot or set up a litter box that fits the exact measurements. ... show more
