Product was easy to put together and sturdy. How ever it is not big enough for six chickens. When they are only a few weeks old it is great, but when full grown it's a tight fit.

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to assemble. Took about an hour. Wood isn't the strongest so be careful when your putting it together or it will split. We did some modifications to the coop to better serve our chickens. It's a very nice looking coop. I would say no more than 4 adult chickens can fit in it. Great coop for the price. I did make some modifications for safety as I lost chickens to raccoons in past coops. I put hardware mesh covering the whole bottom. Also over the roof and windows. I did also cut the plastic from a few window squares for ventilation as I live in Florida and our winters are not very cold then put hardware wire over the windows as I don’t trust the plastic that is used. ... show more

I actually love it. With two of us, it took barely an hour to assemble. The roof is plastic so they don’t try to roost or poop on it. The doors are in just the right place for us. And the center is tall enough we can add extra roosting bars. It is still small for 6 chickens but I think they can be fine when it’s just for sleeping since ours are free range. EDIT: the wood does need to be sealed it looks like it’s warping with the cold weather just a bit so the door is hard to close. ... show more

You get what you pay for...the materials were poorly made, and the craftsmanship needs a lot of work. The hardware was junk and needed to upgrade to something stronger. It also leaked constantly and had to caulk all screw holes and joints where water was coming in. The water caused the pan to rust and made the tray hard to slide in and out. If you do not put a latch on the outside a racoon, or other animal will get in...trust me. Spend the money for a quality product. I threw this one away, what a waste. ... show more
