Now we use this as an indoor hutch and I think the lighter wood would not hold up here in our state where we get alot of snow and rain. That being said the roof is awesome and made for outdoor, durable weather. We did not use the two ends for a run, but rather made two hutches from them being that they were the same width and depth of the center peices. We did this bc we had gotten two bunnies that did not get along well after a week of having them. We stacked the pieces and therefore were tall and not wide like the picture shows. This works for us very well as the hutch is not super wide and deep and the bunnies run up and down fast and seem to like it. Bottom floor food/water, litter pan and top bed and toys. We do let our bunnies free to run when we get home from work so that they can do zoomies and play, but have to seperate them into different rooms bc they just dont like each other much which was dissapointing. So this hutch can be put together in different ways, roof will def hold up outside, but lighter wood maybe not. We love this hutch for our needs. ... show more

I typically never review but felt like people needed to know to trust the other negatives. I had a friend put this together for my 3 indoor rabbits. It was just going to be for bonding but I don’t even feel comfortable leaving them in there for an hour— it’s so small. It’s not going to be easy to clean, there’s only one pull out tray on 2nd level, nothing on the bottom. It leaves my carpet exposed. Good construction but narrow width and dysfunctional design makes it rank low. The two runs don’t connect except through the covered nesting area. It would be better if it connected at the ground level as well.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my tortoise. He is getting bigger so he needs to be outside more. This gives him space to roam and eat grass while also being protected from birds or dogs or other prey. It’s A LOT SMALLER than I wanted it to be. My turtle will easily outgrow this but it’s still cute nonetheless. My stray / feral cats also seemed to enjoy it! They right away got into it. I made a cut in the bottom board and also Didn’t attach the ladders. Pictures are easy to assemble with (no words) but it doesn’t mention adding in the drawer board so make sure you don’t forget that step! My 3 bunnies love this! They all sit up top in the feeder/removable poop tray lol I have 2 bigger bunnies and a dwarf bunny and they all fit well inside of this :) it's indoors with puppy pads under it. When I need to clean in I need my husband to help me move it because it is to heavy and large for just me to move it. All the pieces fit perfect together and assembling was super easy as well. All in all I would %100 recommend this for indoor bunnies as long as they are pretty potty trained lol otherwise you will be cleaning this thing every week with more then 1 bunny. ... show more

So I had purchased a chicken coup sized for 8 from Tractor Supply for $299.00. When I saw this for $249.00, I just assumed it would be of similar size since the price was close. Boy was I ever wrong. It is SMALL. DEFINITELY not worth the price AT ALL! I have two bunnies in it and there is no width room to run. Also, one side does not open to the other side from the lower level. It is closed off. I used this for bantam chickens 7 of them and they all had plenty of room while they were growing. It will be used for quail now. I would not use it for full size breed chickens and I'm not sure about a rabbit?? Maybe if it would be let out and just kept in there for sleeping it would be ok.
