I absolutely love this PawHut Chicken Coop! The layout is fantastic, and it has made managing my flock so much easier. The design is incredibly smart, featuring multiple access doors for simple feeding, a convenient pull-out dropping tray for quick cleaning, and a perfectly sized nesting box. It gives the chickens a great balance of a secure indoor roosting area and an attached outdoor run. Knowing how unpredictable the weather can get, I decided to customize it by adding a Suntuf corrugated polycarbonate roof over the top. That addition took this coop from great to elite! The standard setup is good, but the Suntuf roof provides absolute, bulletproof sun and rain coverage. It completely blocks out the intense afternoon heat, keeping the flock nice and shaded. Plus, during heavy downpours, it channels water completely away from the structure. The entire run stays bone-dry and mud-free, preventing the wood from soaking and keeping my chickens happy and healthy. If you are looking for a highly functional, attractive coop, I highly recommend the PawHut! Just grab some roofing panels to top it off, and you will have the ultimate weatherproof setup. ... show more

This product came in quick and once we found the instructions on another app. It was easy to put up! This chicken pen is perfect for the 4 laying hens we are getting and looks great in our back yard. It’s built sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.

This coop works wonderful as an extention to my run. I always add extra to make it my own so I did a few upgrades I wanted. It came out great plus added legs to secure the nesting box better.

Coop survived Hurricane Beryl with a few modifications that I personally wanted to add. Overall, it's great coop. I knew from the beginning that this was the perfect coop for what I wanted to do, since I wanted to add a couple things to it, to make it better, and this was the coop to do it too. Beware the coop is super light!!! That's why i added the center blocks to the bottom and filled the corners in with concrete, and anchored the coop down to the center blocks. Coop was super easy to assemble approximately 3HRS or so, but it definitely needed more paint, so I added white oil based paint to make it more water resistant. I would rate this Pawhut coop higher, but customer service was the worst and it took 2 months for the coop to come in and a couple other things that I would like see be better for the price I paid. I will be buying another coop exactly like this one and putting it next to it to make it bigger for my flock. ... show more

It's doing its job!!! Definitely not waterproof I would definitely not consider this predator proof either since the chickens digging shifts sit around immensely..I suggest 4 4x4 post... also I rock lined mine. I have a real coop and this. It works. But very flimsy and Im only 5'4 and keep hitting my head in the doorway. ALSO make sire to buy an interior latch. It does not include that and my chickens keep escaping when I go in to change water, etc. ALSOOOO no place to hand additional perches. Kinda dumb. Anyway. this is a good temporary for the $ while building a REAL coop. ... show more

It's not fully setup yet but so far has taken 2 of us to put it together...about 2 hrs with a drill. You do have to make sure to use the correct screws at the right places. It does come with a manual. It's an ok pen. The wood feels somewhat flimsy and will need to be kept somewhere dry and out of water because I doubt this will last long otherwise. Personally, I'm converting this into a coop and will be adding more things to it. ... show more
