This cage is awesome with exceptions. I have two shorter versions of these for my rabbits. Love those. We bought this taller one for our chinchilla. Nope! The chinchilla loves it....loves to chew it. Three of the six levels are almost completely demolished. I wouldn't have too much of an issue if you could purchase replacements. I haven't found a place to purchase replacement pieces yet. If you have a small pets that chew, this is not the cage. It was also very difficult to assemble. Definitely read the instructions for assembly. If you don't, you will most likely be taking it apart and starting over. My daughter jumped right in and put it together without reading. She had to take it apart to get the ramps in for each level. Life lesson...read directions. For other small pets, this cage is pretty awesome. Lots of room to climb. Very sturdy if not chewed. Easy access to pet on all levels. Pretty easy to clean. Its a pretty good cage, given all the options and prices out there. Height is good, but it could be bigger width and length wise. Its made of durable plastic, the metal is strong and resists rust, easy to clean, and easy to move around. Its still just made of super cheap materials so the size being a bit bigger would cost the mfr a negligible amount. Truthfully its kind of expensive for what you get in my estimation, but cage prices can vary wildly. Finally, the bar spacing is too big for juvenile rats. They need to be at least mid sized, or a body about 5 to 6 inches long (not including the tail). You'll want to get a small second cage to house anything under 6 inches until they get bigger. You could modify this cage with wire instead of buying another smaller cage, but it would be more expensive. ... show more

I bought this for my Marmoset monkey, Neytiri. She absolutely loves it. I have put hanging toys, blankets, a swing and ladder in it for her to play. There is plenty of room for her to jump around. I love the doors, makes it so easy to clean and move her toys around. Would definitely recommend!!!

Very nice enclosure. Sturdy and easy to assemble. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the levels have very low sides and poop falls out of the wire onto the floor, instead of it staying inside the cage where it belongs.

Nice quality. Lots of space and great height. Bottom tray is optional and comes out if you like to put bedding down directly. Used a zip tie on one of the door handles that was a little loose, but now it is tight. Should be easy to clean since it has 3 doors and occasionally wipe down everything. Fairly easy set up if you follow directions. When the Ferret isn’t playing in the house, he sleeps great and the extra space in the cage is good exercise to climb all the stairs. We added a hammock at the top and the glass ferret water dispensers fit nice on the inside. So nice to be able to move it from room or by a window. ... show more

I purchase the the 3 story cage to take my ferrets on a road-trip. It was much bigger then I pictured so I only ended up needing 2 floors for 3 ferrets. The instructions to put it together were terrible but it was not that difficult to figure out on my own. The ramps were a little difficult to attach but once they clicked; they stayed in place well! I actually preferred them over the plastic ramps that come w/ the metal ferret nation cage. It was very easy to clean, I have a baby that still potty training & only makes it in the litter pan 1/2 the time so having the slide out tray underneath was perfect. There were no mess left behind. I liked that it had 3 doors which made it easy to get them in/out. The bars were a little far apart (prob better for a rabbit, chinchilla, cat etc..) but it was sturdy enough my 3 troublemakers couldn’t escape. My only complaint is one of the plastic clips at the bottom broke, but luckily the cage was heavy enough that it still stayed in place. It was pricey but worth it as it was pretty easy to collapse all the levels to save space in the car & then reassemble getting it out again once you get the hang of it! The size & color of the cage prob made the ferrets feel like celebrities...they got so much attention every time I had to wheel them in/ out hotels everyone was curious & had to comment or take pics with them.
