  • Wood is soft
This a great small coup, the wood is very soft and the white triangle stabilizer under the nest box came off when I was moving it, however it is easy to put back. It is visually very nice and my hens are already laying in it, I would still by this again.

  • Bad doors
The door hinges broke in about a week on both coops I purchased. Its very cute and easy to build but you wont be able to shut the door and lock it

  • Hen house
Our chickens survived the Colorado winter without additional heaters in this small, adequately designed coop which is a year old and still housing 4 hens at the writing of this review. It has its shortcomings - the hardware is substandard, it isn't tremendously well designed making it difficult to clean. We changed the slide bolt location to the top of the door because manure and straw fill the hinge side, making it nearly impossible to close easily, not fun when it's ten below zero outside. We get frequent winds up to 60 mph where we are located, and it hasn't blown apart or out of the chicken yard without anchors! It is sitting on top of pallets, we don't move it. The nesting box dividers all fell out and won't stay in place, although that doesn't effect egg laying. We were able to drill a hole in the side to make a feed silo with PVC pipe without damaging the integrity of the coop itself. All in all, it was a pretty good decision to purchase this item. ... show more

  • Great product
This product came packaged amazing and the product was as described. Product came with perfect instructions which I appreciated. Also looked exactly like the picture and is perfect for my flock. So we plan on putting around 10 chickens in here at night to protect from predators. (Is predator proof)

  • Its little legs sink into soft soil.
It’s a nice coop, the ladies will enjoy it! I didn’t assemble it, my husband did. He got the job done. Should last a few seasons in the back yard. Size is perfect for 3 birds.

  • Cute, but not sturdy.
Falls apart quickly. Chickens have only been in it a month, one door already has to be fixed, the top white trim has to be reinstalled with better screws, and the front brace has fallen off all without it being moved.
