Currently on our second of these houses. My guinea pigs love it and actually argue over who gets to hang out in it. Easy to put together (no tools involved). I do like the removable lid for easy cleaning. UPDATE- had an issue and Amazon fixed it very quickly. I was also contacted directly by the company who were incredibly nice and more than willing to help! The customer service is great! My guinea pigs are looking forward to several more years with their new house!

Fairly simple to put together. My guinea pigs love it and spend a lot of time jumping in and out of the little windows. The lid comes off so you can clean inside but once it's soaked with their pee it can grow mold quickly if you're not cleaning up their poos often. I went 2 days and when I noticed this I had to replace because of the mold growing. Still a nice product just know if you're animals enjoy chewing you'll be replacing the huts more often.

I bought this along with a soft structured hideaway for my 2 guinea pigs. My pigs LOVE this wooden house. They started chewing on it immediately, which is great for their teeth staying filed down. They get mad at each other if one is in there and the other wants to be. They don't like to share their little hidey holes! But it was super easy to put together, just have to be careful how you pick it up. The lid comes off for easy spot cleaning. The wood is pretty sturdy for what you are buying and in the end it is really how your little fur babies take to it and like i said mine just LOVE this thing. I am going to have to purchase another, so they each have one. I think this judging on their reactions to it is well worth the money.

Style: Hut with Multi-Rooms
I purchased 3 of these for my guinea pigs and before I even used then, I was displeased with the way they are assembled. They are slotted so the wood slides into the other piece. A few problems occurred, the slots were slightly off, very fragile, and they were in opposite directions-i.e. they would come apart when picked up if not done with extreme care. I wood glued one, still not feeling that they were secure enough. More over, none of my guinea pigs would fit through any of the openings. I sent them back for a refund and purchased a different one (x3) that is slotted but all in the same direction so when picked up, it does not fall apart.

I'm a newish piggie owner. This house is one of their favorite things. Will stay in it all day when we're gone (we have a nanny cam and see them spend most of the lone time in there). We're still trying to figure out the cage setup, so we put the house on a puppy pad and put paper bedding inside. When they pee, which they like to do against a wall, the residual pee from wet bedding will still get absorbed into the wood it touches. So far, we've just wet wiped the pee poop spots and leave it under the sun while we completely clean out the cage once a week(ish). Have thoughts about spraying it down, but don't know about wood warping. Also, no idea yet what we're gonna do when we can't dry it out during winter!

This was the perfect little hideaway for our guinea pig....however it came with a broken corner. We didn't have time to return it and wait for a new one, so we ended up just using it anyway. I wish we had exchanged it for a new one. Our guinea pig loves it, but I just wish it wasn't broken... 3 stars...

My guinea pigs love this! It was simple to put together yet is very very sturdy. The doorway looks small but trust me your piggy will fit, I have a 2 year old boy and he fit through perfectly with room left! He fits through the windows too and inside he has plenty of room left even when he poofs up during veggie time XD He likes trying to chew it though since he’s a big chewer, he’ll chew anything or at least try to but this is super durable wood so he gives up quickly. My baby guinea pig (2 months) loves loves loves this! He’s constantly going through the windows instead of the doorway or trying to get on top of it, after playing with this house he got serious zoomies it was so cute to see him so happy🥺 Probably gonna purchase a second for my female pigs! Definitely recommend, especially with the summer months coming since the heat makes plastic hides hotter so a wood hide would be nice

I got this house for my two adult male guinea pigs. It was fairly easy to assemble, although it doesn't come with any directions. The pieces are slotted to fit together and the roof sits on top. I used it to replace the plastic hide that my pigs had previously, because they liked to nibble on the edges and I didn't want them ingesting the plastic by accident. So far they have been chewing on the edges of the doorway and the windows, which is fine because the wood is safe for them and will wear down their teeth. They have no problem fitting in the door and windows, and they're fairly large pigs. This morning I actually caught one of them sitting on top of the house, so it's also sturdy enough to support their weight if that's a concern. Overall it's a nice, roomy hide for guinea pigs that's safe for chewing and easy to move around, and it doesn't really get dirty because the bottom is open.
