I honestly have not been able to use this yet. I purchased this for our horse trailer, but it hasn’t stopped snowing. Oh by the way, the color of this hose is RED not purple.

Flexible, and although it has a slight plaslic- rubbery flavor to the water, it is much less than other hoses. Best to keep it out of the sun to minimize the transfer of flavors to the drinking water.
