I had my house repainted and the trim is way more pink than I anticipated. Now I have this garden hose on a mount facing the street so the neighbors probably think I am that eccentric new old lady neighbor who accents pink on purpose. It directs water, which was the other reason for buying it. Well made hose. Rubber is very nice and looks especially durable. The connectors are nice brass fittings and have an extra protective sleeve where they connect to the hose itself. Gasket included on the connection side and twisted on easily. The hose looked red indoors but once I got it outside in the daylight it's really a dark hot pink color, kind of unique. 50ft length is perfect for the side of the house. ... show more

One of the prime virtues of a hose is pliability -- is it easy to maneuver through obstacles and into tight places, and does it resist kinking? So far, so good. This hose has a softer, more rubbery feel than other hoses I've used. We'll see if that feel lasts through repeated use and exposure to the sun. Right now, I use it in my backyard for daily watering. I don't use a hose reel or any other sort of storage -- I just replace it on a section of concrete patio between uses. I've had it and used it now for a couple of weeks, and like I said, so far so good. I also appreciate that the hose is rated safe for drinking water -- I don't drink from it, but it is convenient for refilling my dog's outdoor water bowl. One thing -- although the description says that the hose is "rose red" it's bring pink (see my picture). ... show more
