2023 UPDATE (3 yrs after purchase). I’m still using this heater, and it’s still working fine. I’ve read other reviews that had bad experiences with this product. Maybe mine has worked so long since I only use it on the lowest setting. I still give it 5 stars. It’s been perfect for my needs. UPDATED New Review: I originally gave this 5 stars at first, and it still remains 5 stars after a month of use. This has been the best purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve only used the heater once outside so far (was satisfied) but I can’t comment too well on that part until I use it more outdoors. But using it inside has been amazing. I live in a old house with tall ceilings (not insulated). I usually have my furnace running most of the time during winter and the heat doesn’t stay inside very long. Since I started using this space heater I have been toasty, and at times I’ve even had to turn it off because it got too warm. I’ve only used it at the lowest setting which is 500 Watts (good for one person) - I’m happy about this because I don’t have to worry about blowing a circuit (old house). I keep it about 3 to 4 feet feet from where I’m sitting. It might be different if you’re trying to heat several people at one time (maybe use higher setting). But it’s obvious to me how much warmer a room is when I have this on for awhile. It puts out good heat. Since I’ve been working at home, having heat next to me has been nice. I turn this heater towards my desk, towards the dining room, towards my chair in the living room. I am not cold at all! My utility bill (gas and electric) has not gone up at all this month. Usually my heating bill in the winter is considerably higher (last month is was even a bit lower). The space heater is saving me in many ways. The only downside of the space heater is when you have it turned off with the remote it blinks a red light nonstop at the top of the unit. If it was a solid red light that does not blink it would be less irritating. I realize the red light is there to indicate the unit is still powered, but the blinking is an irritant. I hope in the future they can re-design this unit with a solid red light. If and when that ever happens I’ll be buying an additional unit to put in my bedroom. It’s heating me right now while I write this. Can’t get over how a heater that does not have a fan can keep me so warm.

I absolutely love this space heater. It puts off a great amount of heat. I loved this heater so much that I have made (4) purchases of the same heater. Just be aware, (2) of them arrived with broken heating elements ad to be returned. I soured on the idea of purchasing another one, but gave in a couple months ago. My most recent purchase came with the heating element intact, but there was no hardware to attach the base. I was so happy to receive it, I went to the hardware store and got what I needed to attach the base. Great heater just know there may be some challenges to getting one out of the box ready to use.

It only worked one year. DO not buy this piece of landfill. It worked okay the first year, although I do think it takes a lot of electricity. I stored it, covered so it would not get dusty. Opened it up. It worked MAYBE 2 hours and then crapped out. Would turn back on, but not create any heat. Do not buy this, it is crap.

The construction seems high quality, we've used it about 10 times for an hour or two each time and it's been working as expected. There is no fan and it doesn't oscillate but it does what it is supposed to do, produce a moderate amount of heat. I don't have any complaints. Outdoor heaters have been very hard to find the last few months, so this is what we found. At about $180, it's probably more than you'll need to pay when (if?) the supply shortage ends for something in this class. This is the 2nd model we tried. It's much better quality than the earlier one (which died during its first 30 minutes) which was unimpressive for almost as much money.

This heater arrived well packaged and it's pretty large. The base is heavy so it's not going to be easily knocked over, once set up, and you're going to need a screw driver to put it together. An extra set of hands could be helpful. I like the timer option because we don't need to leave it on for long. This easily warms both the living room and kitchen of our trailer on medium heat. Low heat would be more than enough if you're sitting directly in front of it or to warm a smaller room.

Used the heater in a livestock barn at the Southwest District Livestock Show. This heater doesn’t work well. The heat doesn’t expand like the photo was showing when I purchased this. It does work in my home much better but I purchased it for the livestock shows.

Replaced a huge and heavy stand up electric radiant heater with this one after it broke. I like this one better for use on my screened porch on cool evenings in the NC mountains even though it gives off slightly less heat. Good for two people sitting next to each other on a porch swing or two chairs. Easy to move and store during hot summers. Remote a nice plus. Super easy to assemble. Recommend if you’re not looking to heat yourself up in a “Live Free and Freeze” state like New Hampshire or Maine. In this case, go for a large mushroom shaped stand up propane heater. Good value.
