While I could previously get the pilot to light successfully, the transition to the main element lighting rarely worked. This part fixed the issue on both heaters saving me hundreds of dollars in overall replacement costs. Cheap and easy fix for an otherwise thrown away $200 patio heater. If your propane heater’s pilot light won’t stay on (hence the heater will not fire up), this is the part you need. It took all of 10 minutes to replace the part. What a find!!
