When cleaning the filter in my above ground pool, you need to plug the inlet valves with rubber stoppers after unscrewing the jets inside the pool. These new valves allow you to simply turn the knob to stop the flow of water so you can easily clean your filter. They attached with no alterations to my best way pool, and also help the vinyl pool by not pulling as much as the original connectors did because these have a special arm that comes down to keep the line straight. Recommended for ease of use and quicker cleaning of your pool filter.

I own 3 of these now and they make cleaning the pool pump and maintenance on the pool a breeze. I don't have to pull the inlet/outlet heads out and use plugs to stop flow. Simple twist to block flow and i can quickly clean out the filter with out losing water from the pool.

I tried so many other pieces to get my sand filter hooked up to my intex pool and none of the other pieces could handle the pressure. These handle the pressure in and out of the pool great and my pool is crystal clear now.

Not only does this keep from pulling on the vinyl ports but allows you to close off the valves without sticking your arm all the way in the pool to place the plug- super helpful in winter when the pool is ice cold as I leave my pool up all year. Love this product!

Works as intended. Definitely feel better about the way hoses hang off the pool. Valve is great also when swapping hoses. Thought a little expensive but plastice seems heavy. But UV damage seems to be the death of pool parts.
