I used these in my garage to insulate the garage door against so much cold getting through and so much sound getting through in or out. I have my business office in my garage so I don’t like hearing all the noise from outside when cars go by and I don’t like people being able to hear me talking on the phone, and this stuff works well for both those things. It was super easy to apply just put 4 double sided sticky’s ( sold separately in most cases) and then stick directly to the garage door. Easy to cut to size if you need a smaller piece. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a quick easy insulation or sound barrier.

I did not give it enough time to expand. My first review was really bad, 1/5 stars. I have about 20% panels that still need some expansion help, so I'm going to cold rinse them, as noted by the seller. Originally out of 6 packages only 1 expanded, immediately. This can be misleading and you must spread the squares out and give them time. I believe the main issue is they over-vacuum the packaging material resulting in overall expansion issues. Cold rinse them to aid in expansion.

Was weary at first but this foam is actually decent, it’s not the most dense of course because of the price point but honestly it was the best deal on Amazon I could find for the best quality acoustic treatment 👍 Studio is looking and sounding better than ever! 🔥

Okay, this product does what it is designed to do. This sound deadening foam work quite well, and I would give it 5 stars for just that. However, doing the install left me a little baffled. (If I knew this before install) Don't soak the foam in water. The package says to soak the foam and wring it out, but the foam takes several days to dry all the way out. Just open the packages and let them stand for 24-48 hours so they have time to reshape themselves. NONE OF THE SQUARES are 12"×12", (they are mostly square) but they are 11½"×12", or the more common 11"×12½". If you are installing them yourself you will find that your lines are not straight. The foam does deaden sound quite a bit, but a lot of other stuff went wrong before it went right. Adhesive quality: There is no adhesive on this product
