I don't know why some say this desk is not sturdy - I have a 32" monitor on top a Yamaha keyboard and mini-PC on other shelves and the unit is not going anywhere. Just don't over-tighten the Allen head screws as they go into nylon fittings and I'm betting easy to strip out. The LED option is a bit gimmicky but I went for it just the same. I have low vision so having a decent size monitor to see online sheet music in a large size is proving to be a great benefit. ... show more

For reference A 37 key novation FL key will fit perfectly on the sliding tray. The DDJ FLX10 has plenty of room in the center with your right and left side open. However my Yamaha HS5 studio monitors are a tad bit large, and slide in the surface. If you are thinking about throwing monitors on, I highly advise you to throw a piece of rubber on the base so it doesn’t slide. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, and hope this desk will last me years! ... show more

Overview: it’s a good desk, worth the price, a few pros, a few cons, don’t regret the purchase at all but wish it did somethings better First lets start with the Pros -big comfortable desk -easy to build -looks fantastic -is sturdy and solid -versatile Now comes the not so good Cons: -USB Charging stopped working after a few months (no replacement available) -the lower keyboard tray is to small to fit a keyboard and mouse combo, or fit a 49key piano if you’re a music producer like me -keyboard tray is wobbly and shaky -keyboard tray sliders get stuck and doesn’t extend all the way Overall it’s a good desk, i would had prefer if the desk came with a wooden filler to cover the ac/usb plugs as it more uncomfortable than usefull. Id also recommend just not installing and not using the keyboard tray as its more of a hastle rather than a useful feature ... show more

I am 6'1 and I cannot fit under the desk (where the hide-away drawer is without lowering my chair. So, essentially this desk is for short people. Also , the keyboard tray does not fit my keystep 37, I currently have it wedged at an angle to stow it. Forget about playing using the tray (and typing too) its not sturdy at all and the whole desk jostles when you use it. Otherwise its cool, but I got this desk for this one feature and it completely sucks. I have buyer's regret. ... show more
