It is stable the poles screw together, but bring a wrench with you to take apart. Both poles and mic holder… all would not unscrew properly without wrench. Actually gave up on one when I put it away last time. If you are not needing to take apart and travel… it is a good stand.

The media could not be loaded. This was a much needed addition to my home studio. The quality of my recorded vocals is affected by the ambience of the room and harmonic reflections are always present. Microphone placement or distance has little to no effect on this. My studio is a multi-purpose room, limiting the amount of soundproofing I can do, so I decided to try a microphone isolator and was shocked at the results.
