Love this pan, going to get a 10 inch as well. I'm not sure why it doesn't have a higher rating. It is sturdy, heats evenly and nothing sticks. I always cook with butter or olive oil, so maybe other reviews that mention food sticking are cooking without...I can't speak to that, but this is so much better than any of the traditional non stick pans I have owned. I use an induction oven, and this pan uses lower stove settings to get the same amount of heat my previous ceramic-coated pan did. The non-stick surface is great, just remember to heat it fully and add oil (if desired) before cooking food. It's easy to clean and is nice and hefty. Recommend!

It started out very good, but with each use it gets less and less non stick. To the point now where when stuff sticks and burns, it's imposable to clean without serious scrubbing. I've had this pan for about 3 months. As with what all of the reviewers said, everything now sticks to it! I decided to spend this $89 since the $25 same size Walmart non-stick frying pans I had been purchasing lost their non-stick ability after a couple of years, and I had to throw out. I thought, OK, I will spend the big bucks for something that will last a lifetime, and I will not have to throw out. But boy was I wrong! I have bought other OXO products over the years that have been great - a name brand I could trust. But we are now in modern times where you can no longer trust name brands. P.T.
