Beware!!! This item rustic out very fast not worth the money. We never leave this in the pool. We only use it for the kids to get in and get out. We can step over and get in but even though its sole purpose is to help our kids get in and out and it doesnt get left in and I always take the top section off to drain the water out. It rusted on the inside horribly after 1 week of use. I put it in the pool and the water started to turn orange from the rust and now forget it. Any water that comes out is black.... DO NOT BUY.

The latter is exactly the right size that I want for my pool however it's only been in the pool for about a week and at every point where the poles come together and around some of the screws it's already looking rusty so I'm having to pull it out of the water after I swim. Is there something I can spray on it to make it more waterproof?

This ladder has zero redeeming qualities. - It wobbles badly, even with all screws tight. - Some of threads strip easily. - It start rusting the very first day of use. - It started leaking some kind of black substance (grease?) that got on our swimsuits and won't wash out. I cheaped out by buying this, and regret it. Why would you make a pool ladder out of metal that rusts? It's going in the trash after 2 weeks of use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: BEWARE! This ladder is no-where-here the quality needed for a swimming pool. It developed major rust in less than 1 1/2 months. I ordered a TRUE stainless-steel ladder to replace it and threw this one in the trash.
