Horrendous quality. The features are good, and the bulbs are durable. Within a few weeks of being outside, many of the sockets no longer function. The bulbs are fine - you can swap them and see them still work - but those sockets will no longer light up. It's trash; avoid at all csots.

This review is for the "Outdoor String Lights LED Patio-Light - 100Ft Outside Waterproof Dimmable Porch Lights with Remote Shatterproof S14 Bulbs Outside Hanging Light Connectable Lighting for Gazebo Backyard Bistro Pergola " string lights. I have string lights on my wood privacy fences and needed another 100 feet or so to completely encircle my back yard. I currently have three 120V strands of various lengths that use ST38 bulbs, but they are a little smaller than these S14 bulbs, and these are spaced 3 feet apart instead of 2 feet like my other strands. Turns out that doesn't matter because, at a distance, they look pretty much the same and the color temperature (warm white) is identical. Note that two spare bulbs were included in this package and they are not interchangeable with the other bulbs, as those run off 120V. What I didn't notice is that these are low-voltage bulbs with a power transformer -- my other strands plug directly into my GFCI-protected 120V outlet behind a bush in my back yard. That means there's a "wall wart" at the start of this strand, and that also has a receiver for the remote control. That's right -- this strand isn't just on/off like my other strands, but will flash, "breathe", and can be dimmed on command with the remote. Fortunately, the controller remembers the last setting and brightness when it loses power because I have a smart Matter-compatible controller that turns all my lights on and off. To complete my setup, I plugged the transformer into the 120V end of the strand that I wanted to complete. That worked, but I was a bit nervous about the transformer/remote receiver 120V connection being out in the rain, so I mounted a little electrical box I had laying around to the fence, and that shields the connection perfectly. Overall, the effect is very nice (see photos). While the price for this 100 foot strand was higher than for my other 60 foot strands that have nearly as many bulbs, the fact that there are "effects" like dimming, "breathing", and flashing makes up for the difference in cost, along with the built-in timer. You can add a second strand to this one for a total of 200 feet, but it presumably has to be the same brand to be controlled -- the connector at the end is a waterproof barrel-type connector.
