Own an EAST OAK Pyramid Patio Heater, 48,000 BTU. After 1 season I could only get the pilot light to ignite, as long as I held down the turn dial. No low to high modes, the gas would not flow. Bought this referb kit for <$10 including tax and replace the tilt sensor and thermostat. Fairly straightforward and fixed the unit right away. Saved me from buying the entire Glass Tube Control Box Assembly for almost $40. Right now this is a 5 start out of 5 star purchase for value. First Amazon did A great job on delivery net day and in am. The tilt switch was just what I needed and fix my heater. For the price I got the thermocouple for when I need it since It is a Comen problem with the heater. Eazy to install with some common sense and A Philips screw driver.

Wasn't sure whether the thermocouple or the tilt switch was faulty, as my heater had fallen over multiple times but the thermocouple was also rather fouled. Didn't matter, though, since this combo was priced very nicely. It arrived on time and was a direct perfect-fit install to my heater.     • A good solution
This rig fixed the problem my patio heater had. The heater would start, but would run only while the starter valve control knob was held down. All fixed now, and for just a few dollars.

    • Easy thermocouple replacement
We were having issues with our patio heater staying lit. It would light, but would only stay lit if I kept the primer pushed in. A quick online search pointed to a potential issue with the thermocouple. We ordered that afternoon, and it was on our front porch the next morning. In less than 24 hours, we had the thermocouple and tilt switch replaced. Super easy to install, but we did have to adapt the hole for the thermocouple. The original was smaller and held in place by a screw. We drilled the hole to the same diameter as the new thermocouple so it would be a tight fit. Even with the minor adjustments needed to the housing, the price we paid was great. Fired right up and stayed lit on the first try. ... show more
