This little electric heater has been a lifesaver for keeping small rooms warm during winter. It may look small, but it does an amazing job of heating up the space with its fan that blows warm air steadily. What I really love about it is the safety feature—it automatically shuts off if someone tries to move it while it’s on. That’s such a relief, especially if you’ve got kids or pets around. It’s compact, easy to use, and perfect for cozying up a room without taking up much space. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend it more. it’s been great for us!

I have a unheated workspace in a garage that is under a studio with water supplies pipes that run above the unheated workspace. Even thou the pipes are insulated I have twice had the pipes freeze and burst when the temps get in the teens. I saw this greenhouse heater and thought this can be a solution to my issue by warming up the space to where the pipes will not freeze. It only happens maybe once a year. I will probably pair it with something that monitors the temp in the space and turns on the heater when the temp drops into the low 20s. So jury is still out if this is going to work how I expect it to work.

This heater SURPRISED me in a couple of ways. The “TLDR” of it is that IT’S AWESOME and I like it and I am really happy to have it. The “Detailed Review” is that I was surprised when I got it in a couple ways…first it was packed REALLY WELL and it was perfectly brand new once I got it out of the box…not something that I can say as often as I would like. Second was the SIZE of this LITTLE thang! This heater is much more “compact” than I was expecting but this is not at all a bad thing in any way, shape or form because come to find out this little thang packs a wallop as I got to testing it out! Starting with the fan and being able to still feel the air that it is moving at over 8 feet away from the face of the unit as measured with a measuring tape. Why?, you ask? Because I have never been able to be that far away from ANY space heater that I have had in the past and still be able to feel the air that the built in fans were moving. When considering the size of this heater….over 8 feet away doesn’t immediately compute and it threw me for a loop so I had to go get a tape measure to see and so I could report back to you, my fully invested, amused and intrigued reader. Next I moved on to testing it in LOW and HIGH heat modes. Here are some tech specs for those that care, if not skip on down to the next paragraph. All results via the courtesy of my meter. I am a Contractor so I can be a little “Extra” when it comes to non UL listed devices that provide heat. However, this heater does have an ETL listing. On HIGH it peaked at 1898 Watts at 18 Amps, briefly, from a COLD Start (70° ambient room temp). Those numbers only maintained for a couple of seconds and they started to drop as the unit heated up. The unit on HIGH ran approx around 1400 Watts drawing 12 Amps once stabilized. It is worthy of note that I did audibly hear the fan speed slightly drop when switching past LOW into the HIGH setting and during the “high demand” phase of the test period. On LOW the unit peaked at 983 Watts, briefly, then stabilized while running to 785 Watts drawing 6.5 Amps. With the unit just running the fan, with no heat, it consumed 20.5 Watts drawing 0.22 Amps. In my testing the thermostat proved to be accurate and turned the unit ON and OFF based on ambient temp and the setting on the unit, as expected. The fan on the unit has 2 settings, ON or OFF and there is no speed control or setting that affect just the fan alone. HEAT out of this unit is IMMEDIATE with no waiting. The heat is felt right away and the fan throws that heat A LONG WAY from the face of the unit. Again, unlike any other space heater I have had in the past. The fan does a really good job on this little unit. The cord is listed at being “approx 89 inches” and I measured it at exactly that from the tip of the prongs on the plug to where it enters the body of the heater. Really NICE length of cord. The cord also feels of really good quality and durability. In my testing the cord never became warm or hot. I am really in love with the cord materials and the length provided on this unit. Excellent! The body of the unit is metal and this initially concerned me, especially with all of the warning labels on the unit, the cord and in the manual. During all of my testing the outside metal housing of the heater NEVER became warm or hot so my concerns were not validated. The “legs” or “Standing frame” of the unit has 4 little grippers on the bottom to keep it planted where it is placed and from sliding around. The frame, just like the rest of it, feels really well made and durable. The entire unit feels solid and there is nothing “cheap” feeling on it or that left me with the notion of, “I wish it was better/different.” The stand frame allows the unit to be tilted and adjusted to just the right angle and the 2 knobs on the side lock in that adjustment solidly. Overall, this thing performed way better than expected or ones that I’ve owned in the past. The build quality is also far superior than any that I have experience with and the cord is “Chef’s Kiss.” I love how COMPACT the unit is, making it not be in the way and also easy to store in the off months. This is going to be great to have around when the weather changes and also for keeping my job trailer warm to prevent materials from freezing or getting too cold. This unit made me do a complete 180 as it over delivered in every aspect of my pre-arrival expectations of it. I cannot even “nitpick” anything negative about it. This one is a solid recommendation. I would order this one again and I would tell family and friends about it. A+ little heater! Oh, and the Yellow color is really cool looking too. Industrial but not so industrial that it can only be used out in the garage. It actually looks pretty cool laying around the house too.
