    • Pretty good quality, fit and finish.
Been using for months now, covered but outdoors. Heats up quick and puts out a good bit of heat, I only use it on medium for those cold nights when I am on the deck enjoying a stogie. The tubes are sealed so I hope it holds up.

    • Does throw heat further than2 or 3 feet.
I had expectations for the heat to be felt 5 or 6 feet away as described, but in my experience you have to be within 2 to 3 feet max to feel any heat. I do think it’s the best option for a patio where you can’t hold in heat, but doesn’t work as well as expected.

Bought this to replace a similar quartz heater that was over 28 years old and finally died. this heater has 3 levels instead of 1 [the old one was just on and off] and works great. It is a really good replacement for the other one and we are happy with our purchase. We like this type of heater because they are silent. We do live in Florida so it is not sub zero here. We just put the central heat on 67 degrees and use the two of these type space heaters bring the temp up to about 70 degrees and that saves a bundle on the electric bill....you guy's up north are laughing at this but we are warm blooded down here...it is stinking hot here in the summer time. ... show more

This heater works very well on high, inside an enclosed gazebo with an outdoor temperature of 50°. I was quite comfortable, only wearing a long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. It really puts out the heat. In my setting, I set it about 3 foot away from me. It turns off when moved or tipped which is a great feature! ... show more
