Two settings - low and high. Our last heater by this brand has lasted several years already. Also heater comes with a 3 year warranty! There is a safety plate so the heater shuts off if knocked over. I have not used it outside but it keeps things pretty warm in a large room. The only thing I could say negative is that the floor directly in front of the heater gets extremely hot.

I use this every day in the family room instead of keeping the house heat system turned up. It comes on fast and heats a room pretty quickly. The low is pretty low- I run it on the high setting, but turn it off and back on throughout the day and evening because it puts out a lot of heat.

When this arrived looking tiny, and with just one heat rod, we were leery it’d be underpowered. We keep a small semi-enclosed area at our back step heated for homeless cars to warm up in winter. The heater was easy to set up, and looks less invasive than our previous heater because it’s shorter and has a smaller footprint. We always get models featuring the safety feature of auto shutoff in the event of a tip-over, so it checked that box. It’s got simple easy to use and read dials, very functional. Where it excels is the heat output. On nights in the 20’s, this little unit gets that semi enclosed area up to 50 even when not on the highest setting. The handle in the back is all plastic, so it’s safe and stays cool. It looked unimpressive coming out of the box, but it really does the job! I’ll come back and edit when we see if it has decent longevity.

Love this for my solarium in the winter. Its perfect and has already been tested by being knocked over by kids. Shut off as soon as soon as it realized it wasn't in all fours. Gets hot quickly, cools down quickly. Not safe around young kids as they can get fingers in the slots, otherwise, PERFECT PRODUCT!
