Works great! Bought it for our deck and it works so well, we brought it inside and warmed up our 34 x 36 sq ft great room. I wish that I could turn off the power from the top or front. The main switch is at the back on the bottom. Guess using the remote is always an option. Yeah, we decided to work on our kitchen table and a cold front moved in. So we used the heater under our 10x10 tarp - it helped tremendously.

I used it on my deck for an hour for the first time today and it was great as long as I sat next to it. I seems like I will have to put it in the middle and others will have to sit close to it in order for them to feel the heat. Either that or buying another one might help. Too expensive though!

This seemed to be a nice heater and while it was working it heated the room nice. It's not very durable though because it died after only 2 months.. I have space heaters that I've had for years and run them all winter. Maybe consider the 3 yr extra protection plan. Since it's not eligible for return ( expired 30 days after purchase) even though in the details Amazon said it's still eligible.. so, it is now a $170 piece of trash.

I honestly like sitting outside when it's cold. And I'll sit outside when it's cold and wet. It's hard to have a fire though when it's raining. My wife said I need to have some type of heating source for her to sit outside with me. Sorry I got this and I've turned it on just real quick to try it but with it not being super cold yet I can't give a 100% accurate review. I can tell you though in mid 50s, this put out some good Heat. I could only stand near it for just a few minutes before I was getting too hot. The remote features very nice to have also. Now this thing does have the safety feature which I'm very grateful for, I have a dog and she's like a bull in a china shop. At least when she goes to knock it over it'll turn off. I'll definitely know more when winter comes and will update if something changes.
