I've gotten a couple of these small handheld portable types of personal fans before and this one is definitely much better it's quality as long as you don't drop it and will last a long time Good battery capacity good fan speed and wind force. I have tested it while out overlanding in my truck midday when it was hot and it works well. The misting water fill capacity isnt going to spray all day but the amount you can add to it it's enough to bring your a decent amount of comfort and back down to baseline. The overall size of the portable fan size is comparable to having 2 cell phones stacked on top of each other. That size will fit into a cargo pants pocket or back pack no problem. I brought this to watch the BNP Paribas Tennis at Indian Wells. The temp that day was 85 to 90 so I thought I’d get this to test it out. Well it worked well. The fan noise on low wasn’t too loud and I was very intrigued by the mist-er. I believe the mister uses a vibrating diaphragm that basically ionizes the water into a fine mist. There are 2 buttons to control the fan. The upper button controls the fan speed, the other button turns the mist-er on and off. Theoretically the mist is supposed to keep you cooler through the evaporation process. I honestly think it’s more psychological that it actually works. I think you can get better cooling by wetting a bandana and using the fan to blow the bandana-evaporation is a cooling process—just like a swamp cooler. ... show more

I was between this fan and another with no misting feature but this one got here soonest so I got this one. I figured if it didn’t work I’d just get the other one and wait. Well I didn’t even consider buying the other one after trying this one! I wants a small fan with blades bc I feel the other ones don’t work well. This one has blades and the air flow is nice! It’s pretty powerful for a mini hand held! I like that it can rotate up and down bc I have damaged hands so this allows me to use it at and angle if I need to set it down or hold it in an awkward way but still get air. The quality is great, it doesn’t feel cheap. It’s not too noisy, but it’s not silent lol MIST: I wasn’t too sure this would work because I’ve tried other hand held fans that supposedly blow colder air and don’t. This cooling misting fan was really helpful for our Disney trip! It kept us cool during the hot days and was perfect to have while walking around and waiting in lines. The mist was a nice extra touch and made a big difference in the heat. My only complaint is I wish the water holder was a little bigger so it would last longer, but I probably could have sized up. When I tested this out of the box indoors in 70deg temps, it worked quite well. With cold water in the reservoir, it really felt great and I thought it’d help a lot during a Disney world park day mid June. That’s where it fell a little bit short. It made some difference but not as much as I was hoping for based on my early testing. I really needed to keep it about 2” from face to notice a difference. Temp was low 90s with real feel low 100s. Also, the rubber piece that protects the charging ports is flimsy and fell off after second use and it’s impossible to get it back on. With the ports now poorly protected, I suspect water getting into the port and rusting the metal and predict I will not be able to charge it at some point. The top rubber piece that keeps the water from coming out is poorly designed as well. It doesn’t secure well. At one point, it partially came off and all the water leaked out. ... show more
