  • Love this appliance!
Style Name: Convection Oven with Air Fry
This oven arrived on time and was packaged really well. It is large, almost as wide as the dishwasher and as high as the cabinets so I hesitated to buy it initially. After using this a month, I am glad I purchased it. I've used, broil, toast, air fry and bake so far and they all came out perfect. I love the large capacity with plenty of room for air frying. Toast does take awhile but comes out perfect. I love that I can adjust the shade. I do wish the pans cleaned up easier so I may replace them. It is nice in the summer heat to not have to use a stove/oven however the unit does get hot so be careful. I did allot of research before selecting this oven and I think it is a great value! ... show more

  • Love it.
Style Name: Convection Oven
The first thing I tried in this was a cake. It baked it in 12 minutes. The next was French Fries. I read that they fries would be crispier on the Convection settings. They were not exactly like fried but they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside like good fries. The oven does its job and does it well. I love the size. I thought I was getting something the size of my old oven/toaster oven/bread maker. This is much much larger. It fits a full size pizza in it with spare room. I'm still looking for larger pans. Since I am the only one who lives here, using the large oven is a waste. This is perfect but all my pans were sized for the smaller older oven. It's nice to have the room. I can cook and freeze the extra. The only complaint I have is the cord. UNLESS you have over the counter wall sockets, you are going to have to add a heavy duty extension cord. Their danger proof cord creates a danger due to the shortsighted idea of making it a terminally short cord. It does NOT reach from one end of the toaster oven to the other. A good solid heavy duty outdoor extension cord will fix that problem but we shouldn't have to buy one. If you do have sockets that aren't right at the oven, please buy one when you order this. You are going to need it. That being said. Yes, it is worth the cost. Yes, it does the job. And I had an extension cord which solved that problem. It was worth the cost. ... show more

  • Delicate but effective
Style Name: Convection Oven
I needed a temporary oven, and this one exceeded my expectations. For one person this little oven performs as well as a standalone, which was surprising. Ive used it just about every day for three months doing basic cooking... Chicken, beef, pork, veggies, frozen pizzas and meals, it works as well as my busted standalone did. The drawback as many other reviewers have pointed out is that this unit feels light and delicate, you have to treat it gently. The door doesn't have much resistance, so I can understand how others have broken it. Also, the power cable is disappointingly short. If the unit will remain mostly stationary and you are willing to treat it carefully, I recommend buying it. You'll definitely get value out of it. Easy to clean too. Just wanted to also mention that the unit gives off surprisingly little heat from the sides and bottom. It all radiates out of the top. It can safely sit next to other appliances as long as you give it an inch or two of space - just don't stack anything on top. I'd also recommend allowing 4-5 inches of space in the back, to prevent the power cord from pushing against the warm casing. ... show more

  • Great value
Style Name: Convection Oven
The main reason I purchased this is that you should be able to roast a 3-5 pound chicken. Cons - it gets hot but I still need to test if it warms the room any. The good thing about this con, is that you can warm food on top of the oven while the oven is on. - No interior light - No numbers on the digital pad, just up and down arrows and a few selection buttons. - Has two tray notches, so while you can dehydrate ( from what I've read) it only can do two trays at once. Pro Works really well and has a very low price. $200-$300 less than the breville that can dehydrate. Only 7 minutes to preheat to 425 You can reheat food in the time needed to preheat. It is not a microwave, but some will see this as a viable alternative if you have a few more minutes available to you. 15x16 interior If you are purchasing a cookie tray/sheet, 15x15 is the best but 14x12 is what you end up with. The oven is a little less than 16 inches inside left to right and between 15 and 16 inches front to back (it is a convex shape back to front). The oster is quieter than my phillips air fryer and the oster functions more as a secondary oven which I wanted because it takes a long time to preheat my gas oven. The oster manual suggests preheating for 7 minutes. In a gas oven I end up making large batches where with the oster I can, with a good eco conscience, make a smaller batch. The oster oven gets very hot on all sides while the phillips not so much ( keep in mind the phillips I have is half the size of the oster and great for boneless thighs, wings and fries and not much else). The oster is shielded like a good microwave while the phillips is not. Arrived well shipped. You should be fine purchasing one used as it arrives in a reusable box. There is a post out there about using aluminum foil. The manual says not to use aluminum foil to line the crumb tray. You should be fine using aluminum foil as long as it is not close to the top or bottom heating element. For my cooking test, I cooked a bell and evans chicken which weighed 4.5 pounds that I cut myself. I breaded the legs, wings, neck, and back at 425 degrees on convection. I preheated for 7 minutes, and cooked the chicken for 36 minutes in an aluminum foil lined baking tray rotating half way through. The neck was the only dry piece ( it was very small for a big bird)and everything cooked evenly. For me, I saved roughly 9-15 minutes in preheating and cooking time vs a gas oven and I was able to lower the temperature 25 degrees. Bottom line is the taste, and it tastes exactly the same as the gas oven. It even left some breaded chicken leathers on the aluminum foil just like the gas oven. Yeah, I know thats my favorite part too. I still have to check my electric bill, but so far, I think I made the right decision vs the pricey breville dehydrator. ... show more

  • Get this or one like it - do NOT get the French door type
Style Name: Convection Oven
Have only used this twice over the holidays. The digital tempurature setting gives a feeling of accuracy - not sure it really is more accurate, but the food we cooked came out great. This is big enough for a larger pizza, a pie, or a chicken, etc. NOTE: there are competing ovens with "French" doors. Do not consider these. I guarantee you will burn yourself on them, and possibley have a resulting disaster from dropping your food. ... show more
