This printer is very easy to set up. I am running Windows, and got a newer driver from Orgsta's site, not the USB flash drive that is included. The free flash drive is nice though, only 1GB however. The driver seems to be one made by Seagull Scientific for their BarTender software, which seems like it is a very common setup for these label printers. A lot of brands seem to use these specific drivers, I don't believe it is Chinese spyware. Getting the device set up is very quick, plug it in, turn it on. The labels feed in from the back, and the printer uses 2 light sensors to see where the labels start and end. You do have to calibrate it once by holding the top feed button down for 3-5 seconds (one beep) and it will feed a few through and recognize the size. You can also hold the feed button until it beeps twice to print a test label. The printer driver sets up the page sizes automatically for you, it set USER to 4x6, which is perfect for the labels that are included. I've printed a few test ones so far and they all look great, nice and clear, although some thin/light fonts can be a bit jagged. Perfect for shipping labels as long as the barcode can be scanned. It also prints quickly, one label in about 2 seconds or so. It takes longer to rip it off than to print. I haven't had any failures yet, seems like it will work well enough long term. I like the size, nice and small, sits at the corner of my desk basically out of sight.

Very pleased with this! Had some trouble setting it up, but tech support was helpful in getting it synched up with my postage program. Spits out labels at least twice as fast as my inkjet did, plus, being thermal print, I don't have to cover the label with clear tape to protect it from running in the wet/damp. A real time saver, if all you need is a simple, inexpensive machine to print postage, this little guy is exactly what you need!

Is good product! Did not come with any instructions, almost had a heart attack when I couldn't get the printer to work. I calmed down and googled. And since everyone and everything can be found on the interweb, ORGSTA has their own website with everything you need. Turns out instructions and drivers were on a little jump drive in the box. Still would have been nice to have a note to let me know...

I'm returning this item. It was not awful to set up on my laptop, however it was impossible to set up on my phone, it never was accomplished. When printing shipping labels from my laptop, this would print "4x6" labels so small that the post office reprimanded me due to having difficulty scanning the bar and QR codes on these tiny labels that were not by any means 4x6. Not only that, I never was able to print a full shipping label that included all of the information on the label. Either the name would be missing or the address or the bar code, etc. I tried printing the same label 7 times and not once did I end up with a whole label. I repeated this process with a second label and had the same problem. Formatting was impossible, I tried every option. This was a huge waste of time.

I am more than pleased with this "Shipping Label" printer. They include in the package the required cables and power supply and the printer of course. But, they also include a thumb drive with the printer drivers. Also, a USB C to USB A convertor, so you can plug your thumb drive in any slot. And, there are 50 papers which are adhesive backed. So, they think of everything. The instructions are a bit vague on how to print the Amazon shipping label. On the Amazon page, I right click on the shipping label, and select SAVE as JPEG. After it is downloaded, I open the JPEG with my Image JPG Viewer. Then I select PRINT, make sure whether it's portrait or landscape. Then PRINT. The shipping label is spit outta the printer perfect. (It is a 4x6 image) No misalignment, wrong zooms or any problems. It just prints. At 34 Bucks this can't be beat. Cain't wait for my next Amazon return.

The media could not be loaded. Great little printer for the price! I use it for my small aquarium plant business. Got tired of printing, cutting, and taping all my labels. Saves tons of time! Super easy to set up and use. It comes with 50 free labels that can be easily loaded into the printer and are automatically centered by the machine. No jams so far and love not having to buy ink!
