The seller is highly responsive. I want to commend them for their prompt responses and their patience. At one point I was confused and thought a part was missing (it wasn't). They worked with me, helping me to identify the correct part. Their responses were quick, courteous, and helpful. These guys went above and beyond. I'm thoroughly impressed by their customer service. The workstation comes in two packages, which might not arrive on the same day. These boxes are pretty heavy. I found assembling the workstation to be a challenge. I strongly recommend having someone to help you if at all possible. It is possible to assemble it alone, but that is difficult and tedious, as I learned while assembling it alone. The instructions are thorough, in exquisite detail. Follow each step carefully. Patience is required. Depending on your experience using tools and hardware, this could take several hours. Decide where you want it, because it's a pain to move once it's assembled. I guess it weighs around 130 lbs or so. Some tools are included with the parts. These include some flat wrenches, a screwdriver, and some hex keys (Allen wrenches). I used a ratchet wrench to ease the work, but you can do without it. The various nuts, bolts, washers, .etc., are all arranged, vacuum sealed in plastic on cardboard backings, and labeled for each step. You can remove the hardware for each step, and follow the directions in the manual. The steps are clearly identified with numbers. Having these items adhering to the cardboard makes it less likely that you'll lose track of them. Also, it avoids accidentally using the wrong piece as you work. It's time-consuming to thread the cables through the various pulleys. There's a total of 13 pulleys, and three different cables. I found that I had to carefully refer to the various diagrams and instructions. I was disappointed to find that there's no guide on how to use the workstation. Many of the movements are obvious; but there are a few where I don't quite know how to do them. I don't find any way to do overhead presses, for example. It may be that there isn't any way to do them. So far, nothing I've looked at suggests you can get this movement using the workout station. It may be that I'll have to use dumbbells for this one. Leg curls were also puzzling to me. You can't do both legs together. You can stand and work one leg at a time, which is fine. Not ideal, but adequate. One feature I really like is the springs at the bottom of the weight guides. It helps to soften the noise when you're at the end of a movement. Often it's difficult to set the weight down quietly, especially if you've worked to failure. It's a thoughtful touch. Once assembled, the workout station is rock solid, built like a tank. I am impressed. Other devices I've used were fine, but not nearly as solid as this one. The workout station is a bit snug. I'm about average height. If you're tall, this could be a problem. On the other hand, the seat and back rest are adjustable, so you might still be able to use it. It's something to keep in mind. The weight carriage has a couple of features I think are clever. You can convert it from the default 1-inch weight plates to Olympic. They give you a couple of 2-inch tubes you can put on the arms, which allows you to use Olympic plates. The other feature I like is that the arms on the weight carriage (where you put the weights) are angled. That means the weight plates are much less likely to fall off as you work. You get some clips to hold the plates in place, but as you switch between the various weights you might not want to bother. On the other hand, it might be better to use the clips for safety. There is plenty of room on the weight guide, so you get a good range of motion for your movements. This is especially important for pulldowns. When completely unloaded, this workout station still has some resistance, a few pounds. It's not a problem, just something to consider as you decide how much weight you want to use. I definitely am glad I bought this, and I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants a good home gym. Update: I found that the resistance of the movements can be fairly high, depending on the exercise. I tried this on an empty weight carriage - no weights at all. Pulldowns took about 5 lbs of force, not at all bad. To my surprise, the chest presses needed 20 lbs of pressure, even without any weight. You've got to take these forces into account when trying to judge how heavy to work. I didn't, and got confused why some exercises were so hard. ... show more

Not suitable for taller people im 5'9 hubby 6'6 and both our heads hit the bar if we try to lean back and do chest presses . NOT suitable for most taller heights.
