The standard C most kits come with aren’t large enough to fit adaptors for many pickup truck suspension work, especially ford. It was needed for track bar ball joint install , didn’t flex at all, worked great

I needed a bigger ball joint press for my Ram 2500, and this was an affordable option that shocked me with its quality. I beat the heck of this thing both getting the ball joints out and putting them in (I had to tighten the joint as tight as I could and then hit the top of it with a sledgehammer to force them out and in, and it handled it like a champ). While the use definitely took some paint off, she worked well the whole time. I also appreciated the 2 shaft sizes to make them work well in different locations, though be careful with the ball bearing inside the thing as it’s hard to find if it falls out. Overall I was super impressed with this thing and I am glad it’s part of my toolbox.

Used this on my Ram Cummins 2500 after bending a smaller one. This one gets the job done. Pressed the ball joints in without issue. Seems to be made of a heavier alloy than the smaller ones. Yes it is heavy and can make positioning a little more difficult. But if you need a heavy duty one then you gotta deal with the weight.

Seems ok , Very heavy duty my only concern is the threads seem loose and a little to course . I have only used it 1 time so far . Time will tell . I am greasing threads hoping they hold up ?

Mostly writing this in response to the reviewers that had problems with damage to the threads. Don't use impact with this tool. It's not designed for that and it won't survive it. I used this to press out wheel studs. I used a 4 foot breaker bar and a good amount of force. The threads have held up fine. The folks who've had problems with the tool either 1) got a defective unit, or 2) used an impact wrench, or 3) used an even longer breaker bar than I used or stood on the breaker bar or something. The tool I got works well and applies massive clamping force. It's probably going to work for what you need unless you use impact or a ridiculous breaker bar.
