The suction was ok. The unit is lightweight but a but flimsy feeling. The swivel was too much swivel. It was not easy to open the cap to the debris door to empty it. The cup door broke first day of use. Had to return it.

This item broke literally within minutes of using for the first time. Do not buy this product!!! Was collecting a little bit of debris before starting on the bedroom and the mount for the hose connecting to the base snapped off within just 2-3 couple minutes. What a complete waste of money. I just put in new laminate flooring throughout the house. I initially wanted to be economical and use the good 'ol standard broom and dust pan. However, I discovered that it is hard to collect all the dirt from the floor with the dust pan. The electric corded ones limit the reach of various room and it's annoying to plug and unplug frequently. This vacuum is lightweight, portable and under $100 vs. $300 models. The dirt collector cup is a bit hard to manage and I tend to end up spilling the dirt onto the floor making a mess again. But I'll work on perfecting this skill. ... show more

It was quiet, the light was nice but I needed to return it because the door to empty the dirt broke at the hinge. If the door wouldn't have broken we would have been happy with it.
