Initially, the shipping box looked small. After full assembly, I measured the width and it was indeed 60 inches between the extremes of each blade. There are plastic blade extensions included that are required to be attached at the ends of the regular blades for full functionality. However, they do not match in material or texture and are noticeable from ground level. This is the biggest reason why I gave the 3 stars instead of 5, just based on the cheap look due to these attachments. Furthermore, the strongest speed setting of the fan rotation does not feel as powerful as another Ohniyou 60 inch fan I had previously purchased in the past. All I can say is that this is one of the nicest ceiling fans I have ever put up. The motor is made super well and the aluminum blades are made perfectly. Nothing needed to be balanced. The fan is so quiet, that you can not hear it at all. We are super happy with it !!!
