Walked 15 yds on packed snow, left snowshoe landed on the normal uneven terrain and rivet by pivot failed on the spot beneath my 180 lbs. Done-zo! Walked back to race start line rather humbled, but lesson learned. Race organizers lent me a pair & I completed my event. Even if it's for your one snowshoe event of the year better to plop down proper funds than end up with these on your feet...for 15 yds. ... show more

I liked the aluminum rivets where others are plastic, I liked the crampon design sawblade type teeth, I liked the heal strap, I liked the fact that the front crampons are bolted in rather than riveted, I like the bag.& I like the price, one big fault I did not like the ratchets on the bindings very weak would skip while tightening and one skip and there done. ratchet mec. is of very poor quality I tried these on inside Thay did not pass the first usable test.
