Surprisingly, this fan puts out plenty of air, even on the lower speeds. It has 6 speed settings, runs very quietly, and the light is bright. You can also choose between different shades of white, and it’s fully dimmable. I have other ceiling fans that cost four times as much, and honestly, I don’t notice any difference other than this new fan not having manual pull chains to control the light and fan. A few of my tv’s are like that with no manual controls, I guess that’s how they get the price down. I’d definitely recommend this fan. It looks great, performs well, and was really easy to install w/ the hanging hook to hold up the weight while you wire it. Time will be the ultimate judge of its durability, but as of today, it’s an easy 5 stars. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy a $60 ceiling fan. Its not quite the style I was going for in the room, but I decided it was worth the try. I am pleasantly surprised by the easy installation, and quality of the product! I also didn't realize this fan doesn't require light bulbs - the lights are pre-installed. The remote is great, but the app adds options I wasn't anticipating. I also love that the blades offer two different white options - I preferred the distressed side, but either is very pretty. The fan is very quiet, even on the highest speed! I would highly recommend this product and may buy another one soon for my son's room! ... show more

LOVE these ceiling fans. We built a new house and these have been the perfect fit for all 3 of the bedrooms we put them in. They shipped on time and in tact (which living in the country on dirt roads was a concern of ours). The install was really straight forward and having a remote to control the fans is wonderful. The printed instructions to assemble and install this was terrible BUT there is a QR code for a video that was though and answered all my questions. Installation wasn't difficult and everything works perfectly. I had zero issues with balance or anything else I have run into on fans before. I absolutely loved sleeping with this fan on last night. It is whisper quiet and effective at keeping my large room cooler even on low. I like being able to choose the light temperature and brightness so if I'm chilling I can have it warm and low but if I'm active or need more light it's available. The light also has the ability to be a lot brighter then my old fixture which is great. Overall I am super pleased with this ceiling fan and considering buying a 2nd one for my home office but I may want an RGB one for there. I would give 5 stars if the printed instructions were worth the paper they were printed on. Use the QR code and slow the video down or watch parts multiple times. ... show more

Edit - the smart app feature is included in this. I was bored and decided to try it even though I thought it wouldn't work but it does! Was easy to install. Works great and runs quietly! I have never purchased a fan like this from Amazon, but found it to be as top-notch quality as something you'd buy at a store. I really like the simple black modern appearance. Note that the app operation does not come standard on this, as the listing sort of implies. You have to buy an extra wifi attachment, which we did not. It puts off a good breeze. I purchased 3 of these fans over 9 months ago and they were working great, but then one fan stopped working. The light would work but the fan did not spin. I contacted vendor and we communicated via email and they sent replacement remote and transmitter which corrected the problem. For the fans and their customer service I give them a 5 for being able to communicate with them easily and their support and standing by their product. I was remodeling a bedroom and wanted to modernize it a bit from the Westinghouse fans I installed when I bought the house in 2008. They had that older school look, but this is a guest bedroom, so spending $200 on a fan that will be used a few times a year doesn't make a lot of sense. I found this fan for a good price and bought two of them for two separate projects. Installation is straight forward. You just need to make sure you pay close attention to the proper orientation of the small connectors from the fan controller to the fan, and from the fan to the light. I'd say the installation was about as easy as a normal drop fan. I'm not going to mislead you by saying this fan feels high quality. It feels adequate, but it's probably 1/3rd the weight of the older fan I took down of the same size. There are no bells and whistles here. WIth that said and considering the price, this is a good buy. It has a large amount of control from the remote, is dead silent, supports dimming and cool/warm adjustment on the light, had more speeds than any other fan I have, and was balanced upon installation. The remote feels like a cheap toy though and this is not a fan I would put in say my living room where it will see a lot of use. I did not set up the app control since that seems overkill for my particular use case. It moves a decent amount of air on higher settings, though it feels less than the older fan did on high. I just hope it holds up. I had the same Westinghouse fan I removed in my master bedroom for about 14 years and it saw a LOT of use, and it was working just as good as the day I took it down as the day I installed it. Something tells me that probably won't be the case with this fan. ... show more
