  • Ease of use, material, program use
Size: Ender3 S1 Pro
I enjoyed how it had a wide variety of settings and options to help calibrate the system. The bed being magnetic was really easy to clean and setup was fairly simple only taking about 10 - 15 minutes. This printer already had a few practice prints which as useful since I was a beginner. The only thing I dislike is the fact that it only accepts GEcode file unlike most other printers that accept multiple different files like stl and vrml. Over all it was pretty good and I really enjoy using it. ... show more

  • Amazing very easy setup and first print.
Size: Ender3 V2 Neo
This is my first 3d printer I have owned. I have a couple of friends with them but haven’t used one myself. I picked up package started assembling around 3pm. By 9pm I had both sample models printed. Very happy with purchase. I recommend watching videos and asking questions. It is a process but once figured out it is easy an fun. Side note if you don’t have patience be prepared nothing is fast but end result is amazing. ... show more

  • Good print quality but fatal flaw
Size: Ender3 S1 Pro
The media could not be loaded. The printer was super easy to set up even for someone who knows nothing about 3d printers. It produced good clean prints with little effort. After a short while though I noticed the top layers started looking crummy then when I went to print my last project the first layer had holes and eventually the extruder stopped... Extruding... After done diagnostics it seems the ribbon cable had failed. If you buy one of these the first thing you should do is search for ender 3 s1 cable chains and print the kit online. This should prevent the cable from failing. ... show more

  • Very good 3D printer for beginners
Size: Ender3 V2 Neo
I just started 3D printing with this printer and it is absolutely amazing. It is hard to get it right. The 3D models come out extremely smooth without sanding. It takes about 2 hours for small prints. Highly recommend for budget / beginner printer.

  • Easy to set up, easy to operate!
Size: Ender3 V2 Neo
Im not super electronics savvy and this was simple and easy to set up and use! Ive been printing quite a bit lately and it has been dependable. I just wish there was an easier way to transfer files than the Micro USB cad. I highly recommend this 3-D printer to everyone!

  • Received a returned unit
Size: Ender3 S1 Pro
I just can't give it more than 3 stars. Print quality is great after doing a good amount of troubleshooting. After assembling the printer, the x axis wouldn't move. Had to troubleshoot that, which involved checking every connection to the main board. After getting the bottom plate off, I found the z and x axis cable was barely plugged in, with a TON of hot glue around it. Luckily I was able to break off the hot glue and secure the cable in place. Then I had a good amount of trouble getting the thing leveled. THEN I found that this printer was very likely used and returned, as I pushed a new roll of filament through the nozzle, I saw a TON of orange filament being pushed through before I saw any of the included white filament come through. clearly someone used their own orange filament on it first. After about 8 hours of troubleshooting, the printer seems to be working as expected. Great quality prints, horrible quality control, and you might get a returned unit. ... show more

  • Good for tinkerers and people who like to print upgrades
I love this printer, I like to tinker on it and find ways to make it better. I have two other printers that I've gotten before this one and I have "some" experience with printing and moding. I don't know if I would say this is a good first printer. It definitely needs some printable upgrades to insure good printing and long lasting life span of the printer. If this is your first printer, look up some YouTube videos for printable upgrades, you'll need them. Also, I suggest to buy a new magnetic plate or get a glass plate for the bed, my stock plate did NOT last very long. Everyone goes with a new magnetic plate, I went with the Creality glass build plate only because I prefer it. I believe this printer is better than an Ender 3/Ender 3 v2 mostly because the bed drops on the Z axis rather than slinging the bed back and forth on the Y axis. Even though the 5 pro has the same build area as the Ender 3, it prints much faster and more evenly because it doesn't have to sling lots of mass around. The Ender 5 pro does take up some more space than an Ender 3 but I'm okay with that. The only bad thing that I really don't like about the printer is the software and screen display. The Ender 3 v2 has a much better home, menu, and settings screen. The one on the Ender 5 pro seems out dated, and after using the Ender 3 v2 and the Ender 5 plus for more than a year, it just doesn't compare to the two. Came with upgraded springs, extruder, and bowden tube, which is awesome and a huge help to getting great prints. The upgrades aren't needed to print, but it does make a difference in the prints and the over all use of the machine. ... show more
