This is my first 3D printer and it’s been a great experience so far. Setup was simple, and I was able to start printing quickly without having to mess with a lot of settings. The automatic calibration makes it very beginner friendly, and print quality has been excellent right out of the box. It’s also quiet and compact, which is a nice bonus. It also connects to an app that allows you to print from phone or computer with access to hundreds of prints for almost anything you can imagine! If you’re new to 3D printing and want something that just works, this is a great first printer.

I bought this as a present for my partner and it works great. It was very easy to set up and he started printing gadgets within half an hour of receiving it. This is our first 3D printer and it is easy to figure out. Being able to see the print as it's going is useful for checking in, and he is even able to send a print from his office (after I clear off the plate for him of course).

Having a great time printing. So many options to choose from on Bambu Handy! Not all are available for the mini but it is so much fun! Great machine, a small learning curve as well finally found a thin layer with a glue stick helps prints stick to the bed. Totally worth it and it doesn’t use near as much filament as I expected!

Could not say enough wonderful things about this as an intro printer. It’s quite literally changed my life since being injured and having some time off. I have made everything from personalized birthday gifts, to tool organizers and shelvings for my entire house. We purchased the Bambu Lab A1 Mini 3D printer for my son as a Christmas gift, and unfortunately it has been a frustrating experience from the start. Since setting it up, we have only been able to successfully print four items. Nearly every other attempt has resulted in issues that prevent the print from completing. Considering the price of this printer, the constant problems have been extremely disappointing. We expected a much more reliable product, especially from a brand with such strong reviews. I have also reached out to customer service for help but have not received a response. The lack of support has made the situation even more frustrating. At this price point, both the product performance and customer support should be significantly better. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this printer.

I had zero 3D printing experience before this printer, and setup was genuinely easy. From unboxing to first print, everything felt straightforward, and there’s plenty of online support if needed (YouTube, MakerWorld, etc.) Print quality has been extremely consistent. I’ve printed hundreds of functional home items in under six months — including recreating a discontinued sliding door handle that now works like new. You don’t need the AMS, but it’s very convenient for multi-color or quick material changes. If you’re new to 3D printing and want something reliable that just works, this is a fantastic choice.

I do not regret getting it. I did not know anything about 3D printing and it was very affordable with AMS lite. But then I got the A1 because there is too much, once I got into it, the Mini cannot do. Does not deserve to lose a star over that. It is fast and if, practically, glued to an extremely rigid table/counter it will print up to 5" on ludicrous speed before the print itself is shaking too much. It still prints full height at ludicrous (if it is unmovable. I use 4 corner blocks and 3M tape. It does not move.) speed but the layer lines start to warble. Yet, the printer compensates and, somehow, still finds a place for the filament and the print is good, despite wavy layers. 5 stars.
