My chair has only been put together 2 months and hardly used since I put it in my office at school and one of the wheels bent backwards. The plastic had a weak spot. I wfh, so I needed a new home office chair. I don't need anything fancy, and although I wouldn't call this chair the fanciest, I did splurge and pay more than I intended to when I bought this. Pros: Asthetically pleasing Comfortable material Fairly easy assembly instructions Cons: Not well constructed, which is kind of a big issue. Basically, the instructions highly stress that all parts must be used, because if it isn't, it is not structurally safe to sit on. Okay. So what happens when your parts don't align with each other and I CAN'T screw everything together? I fought and fought with this arm piece to attach to the seat piece, but no matter which way I shifted or pushed something, one of the holes simply will not align with it's partner. So of my right arm rest, only 3 of the 4 holes are successfully screwed. The other, as shown in the attached pics, literally cannot join because the holes rest too far apart. I literally just got this, so I can't comment on longevity or quality long-term, but after this I don't have high hopes. Highly disappointed.

I was looking for a cheap and easy to assemble chair for my work desk after I got a new WFH position. I found this one at a huge discount, and after digging through the dregs of this site, I figured why not. It's not like I'm going to be spending a third of my life in it or anything. And besides, it's replacing a tiny little secondhand desk chair that lost its pneumatic pressure before it got to me, and couldn't lean back. I pressed buy now, and prayed that Prime wouldn't fail me. Prime failed me. It told me "hey, you'll have this chair on Tuesday!" Tuesday came and went. I was fighting the pneumatic failure of my little black desk chair that had seen better days for several days after the promise date of my order. It arrived on Friday after work, within mere hours before I would have been able to send in for a refund. I was elated (even if my back was sore and body was Done with sitting for the next three days, because the little black demon chair had done a number on me.) Upon building this chair, I noticed that there was an unadvertised pocket with a USB cable in the back of the backrest. Curious! So once I made sure I didn't collapse through the chair and gave it a little test drive so to speak, I dug out one of my usb-to-wall-plugs and plugged it in. It started vibrating. This madly inexpensive chair came with an unspoken vibrating function! My back will never toil under the pain of tiny, unreclining pain again! Truth is, this was going to be a temporary chair. I was going to replace it once I got my tax refund next year. But it's comfortable and has a vibrating back so it's clearly going to stick around. If you're a fan of frugality and functioning comfortably in your WFH setting, or just like to lean back and play games after that hard day of work, I recommend this chair. 100% excellently done. Except Prime. Prime can blow me.
