I wish I found these years ago and it would have saved me wear on my wood floors. Ever since the pandemic I have been working from home more and therefore at my desk all day, everday. My hard plastic wheels on my office chair has worn a circular ring pattern in my wood floors from rolling around and pivoting in at my desk. These are much softer like rollerblade wheels. I really like these wheels. I've purchased many many before for other chairs that I've had throughout my career and I always try to grab the skateboard-style wheels. I have a really nice fairly expensive office chair from LaZBoy that came with your typical garbage plastic dual wheels on each leg. Unfortunately for me, I am living in an apartment for the next several months while we look for a house, and my office in this apartment has carpet. I couldn't get the other wheels to roll at all no matter what kind of deskmat I used or how I arranged things. As soon as I put these wheels on the chair was rolling around really well. Obviously not as great as when I take it into the living room on the hardwood where I could literally race around, but still much better than with the stock wheels and definitely adequate for my daily needs especially with a nice thick desk mat between these wheels and the carpet. Easy rolling, quiet, holds even heavier people. They last awhile. If you are on the fence just get them... they are the best wheels for an office chair. Keeps your floor from getting scratched. Cons: Adds two inches to chair height. These wheels do collect every dirt partical to be found on the floor and look dirty and old in a very short time. I have not tried them on the carpet.
