I've been looking for a foot rest like this to make long hours at my computer more comfortable. I was having extensive hip and leg pain from working at my computer so much. I decided on this option and was a little bit skeptical when I read that it moves. It's great, however, and the movement isn't an issue. It's not a loose movement, if you keep your feet/legs still it doesn't move, but if you tend to move around while working, it moves with you, which I find to be perfect. It has several different height adjustments, which is great depending on what fits your needs best. I do notice if I put my weight more towards the outside edges of the rest, it feels like I could break it if I pushed too hard, but I rarely find me moving my feet anywhere other than the center. The only other thing I notice, is that it's pretty deep (goes the whole length of foot, plus some) I do find myself wishing the depth was an adjustable feature as well, because it limits how far I can pull my chair in, due to the design of my desk. Overall, not a big deal and doesn't hinder my working ability. I definitely think it's worth the price and provides a lot of much needed support throughout the work day! ... show more

Solid yet lightweight; easy to move around when needed; the rotation ability keeps feet relaxed… One slight downside is that it collapses when you pick it up or move it, so it does not lock in… but great height adjustments.

Great concept but it's not the best quality. nice without shoes but it's weird it doesn't lock in place. better than not having one! So in that case I recommend

    • Comfy footrest
This is a great footrest. Sitting in a chair all day, you want to have your feet elevated at time. The elevated beads help your feet as a massage and your feet will feel great anytime. Being able to adjust it is great so you can have it at any angle or height you would want.

This product is not ok…did not meet my expectations. Downsides are it being extremely loud when you move it and or move your feet plus it’s made with very cheap material. Would not recommend.

    • Problem solved!
I was getting numbness in my hands and arms because my computer desk is too high. To reach it correctly I have to raise my home office chair up to the highest level but then my feet are dangling and it cuts my circulation for my lower legs and feet. This device put my feet at the right level, it is adjustable and I can rock it with my feet which limbers up my arthritic ankles. It's just been great! Now I don't have to get a new desk or chair which would have cost alot more and my hands and feet arms and legs are not numb and falling asleep. ... show more

    • Great for short legs and supporting cats napping on your lap
I'm 5' 1'' (~154 cm) and my feet dangle when sitting on most chairs. If sitting all the way back in the chair, usually only the balls of my feet/toes have contact with the ground. I wasn't really bothered too much, until my cat started sitting on my lap and it was hard keep my legs up to support her. I did not realize how MUCH more comfortable my legs would be with a foot rest, and I regret not getting one earlier! PROS - solid/not foam = easier to clean - ability to rock back and forth. I tried a foot rest that didn't move, and the angle it was set at just wasn't comfortable. - height adjustment. Really easy to adjust! I use the middle setting. CONS - does slide easily on hardwood (because I usually push off of it). This could be easily fixed with non-slip pads. I also tried the newer model of this brand, with the foot massager beads in the middle, but I don't think that it did much to massage so I opted to get the regular version. If you're thinking of getting a foot rest, I'd say get this! I regret all the time I spent looking for the right size box to use as a makeshift footrest. ... show more

This foot rest has helped my lower back pain by helping align it correctly while sitting. I wear a 9 in Women's shoes, and both my feet fit very well on the rest. My pain is from a pinched nerve.
